Help with my cousin......?

ok she is like 12 and shes getting her nose peirced tomorrow after her b-day aprty is over..shes truning 13 and before she does...i wanna tell how old she has to be...even tho they made an appointment to get it peirced already...so how old do you have to be in georgia to get your nose pierced..i have asked and serched and i cant find it any where about the age....i know you have to have a parent consent but i mean i dont want anything bad to happen even tho her mom is taking her......and the tatoo and piercings shop is closed so i cant ask them...and how do i tell her shes making a bad choice at such a young age? thanx

btw it is my buisness sence im the one who has to pay for it......cuz they wont have the money and shes not getting any presents sence christmas is cumming up and cuz i have the money i get to pay for it and also i live with them so ya it is my buisness!!!!

I actualy got mine done when I was 14 but it was a BAD idea. It hurt really bad and I ended up taking it out because I have no idea what I was thinking when I got it done. Getting your nose peirced is legal with a parent unfortunatly. Did you try to sit down with her? It might help but she still might not want to stop getting it done. So if you really feel that she shouldn't do it don't pay for it. I know that it is sorta mean but just take the money that was going to be spent on the peircing and tell her that you would me more than happy for her to get somthing else. (and not a tatoo lol)

She should wait till she is older to get her nose pierced! She is too young! Wait till 15 yrs old and then she can do what her heart desires! But if she really wants to get it pierced now, call the person who is going to pierce her nose and ask her you question. She should now. Government should require her not to let anyone underage get their nose pierced so she should know.

In my state you can get your nose pierced at 15. But I don't think it will apply in Georgia. My nephew's nose was pierced at 15 right at his birthday. They should ask you for some identification so be ready to take some identification out! Best of luck with the nose pierce and I hope that your cousin doesn't get harmed.

Nope, she cannot get a piercing anywhere. You have to be over 18

If her mother will take her to get a nose piercing then her mother needs to have her head examined the child is too young for all that sort of mess and it is dangerous.

Tell her cool kids so not get piercings. That is will hurt terribly and could very well get infected and if she wants to let it grow back it will not and she's going to have a hole in her nose

Parents take newborn babies to get their ears pierced all the time. I personally do not think it is the thing to do, but alot of folks do it. I believe if a parent is consenting they can get a piercing at any age. In my opinion the child is not making a bad choice...the PARENT is.

18 is the leagal age to get anything like that done. Ask her if she wants to blow boogers out of the side of her nose for the rest of her life? Digusting I know but hey anything that will work right? My mom would never let me do anything like that. I had to fight with her to get my ear pierced at 14. Geeze what is this world coming to? Wait I dont think I want to know!

Well, I think you have to be a least 15 or 16 and tell her, "Ya know, your gonna have a big hole right in your face, you can never fix it. A lot of my guy friends were talking about peircings, they say anything else but the ears aren't hot." That might scare her.

im pretty sure you have to be 18 . but with her mothers permission she might be able to do it . i believe shes too young too. but relax our mistakes are what we learn from. its not like she cant take it out and let it grow over if she feels diffrent about it later.
hard to believe that her mothers ok with it . but im a mother that took my son to get his tongue pierced on his 17th bday . but he was married and had a kid , not that a approved of that . either now he wishes he had waited to start a familey .hes 22 now with 3 kids . and his wife left them.
i just hope you enjoy being a kid it doesnt last long enough.

Your a good cousin to hope to discourage her. I am sick that her mother is going to take her. Her mom should be telling her how beautiful she is and how a nose piercing will look like a mole or something. Bad, bad mom! Good, good cousin!

if her mom says okay, butt out. being that young she might grow tired of it soon. at least mom can pretend the girl had a say in it. i've seen people with infants that had pierced ears. and no one asked if i wanted to be circumcised when i was born, but i digress.
