Josh, its more traditional and Cody is one of those fashion period names, Josh all the way

I think Cody is a really cute name for a little boy, but what happens when he's a grown man? Cody doesn't sound very professional to me.
I'd go with Josh. That way he can choose between Josh or Joshua when he's in the working world.

I know a number of girls with the name Cody...so I think it's kinda feminine and not too suitable for a boy. Also, try imagining your son as a grown man and having the name Cody....basically, I'd go with Josh.

Cody is better, I don't like the complete name of Josh (Joshua). I like Cody I met lots of great guys by that name.

I like Josh (Joshua, I'm assuming) much more than Cody. I'm not that crazy about the name Cody for a grown man. Sounds like a child's nickname to me.

Well, if this all I can pick from; Josh.
But, if it were my child................Boogerbutt! You can use Josh as a middle name for when he young. Then when he become a Popular Athletic/Movie star, "Boogerbutt" be the name of preference and people will cheer the "Boogerbutt".
