We are made to give birth. Are you 82 pounds because of your age or your lifestyle? Are you a healthy 82 pounds? Not asking to be rude but in todays society it is not really normal for an adult woman to be only 82 pounds. That aside- we really are made to give birth- You can do this you will be fine. (unless the 82 pounds are the life risk.)

Are you just a small person or do you have an eating disorder? If you're just built small than you will gain weight during pregnancy and probably not have a baby that is too big to deliver. Very small women can give birth as well. But check with your doctor. If you're planning to get pregnant it's a good idea to have a physical exam in advance anyway.

You'll gain weight during the pregnancy..
Your doctor will check your bone structure (because they do that to every woman who is pregnant).. and if he thinks there will be any risk then he'll most likely take the baby premature or have you have a c section.
Technology is so great in today's world that it's very unlikely for a mother to die while giving birth. That's why they hook you up to all of the machines.. to monitor you and make sure everything's going smoothly.

Depends on the person. I haven't gained any weight at all yet. I was 110 going into my pregnancy and now almost 5 months along I still am 110. So it's up to the woman. You might want to gain a little though. But it's up to you. :)

I would gain more weight. You have to provide the baby with proper nutrients. The baby lives off of what you eat. Feeding yourself is feeding the baby. Good Luck

It would depend on your height and body structure. The doctor would be the best person to advise someone about this.
