My 14 month old still spits up. It is normal (for him!). He doesn't have a "reflux" diagnosis, he doesn't need meds, he doesn't have pain, he's gaining weight ... It is a pain in the butt, but we live with it. If you are concerned I would call your pediatrician about it.

Sounds like if it hasn't been diagnosed with Reflux, you need to go to the doctor and ask about it. By a year, the baby shouldn't be spitting up at all.
