me and my husband cant have babys and we want one and i cant afford a fertility and my husband gave me his ok for sperm donor

We are going to Georgia for Thanksgiving. It is a 13hr drive from here. I am sure he won't be a happy baby. Any ideas you have would be helpful. Thank you

I have heard of the terrible two's but since she turned two in Aug. I have noticed her hitting more and more. She hits her 8 year old sister and I try to seperate them for a while or give the little one a one minute time out but she continues to hit her whenever she feels she doesn't like something she is doing.

I need some serious answers , I don't want answers telling me to hurt her in anyway.

I want to instill a sense of responsibility in her actions and direct her attention to something more constructive.

my friends son is two and every now and again he will start screaming VERY loud,so loud it makes your ears hurt!! he does this for no reason at all.does anyone know why??

We are early in the process of domestic private adoption and are wondering if it's worthwhile to post our profile on parentprofiles.com. If anyone has used this site, I would like to hear feedback, either good or bad! How long were you using the site before you had made contacts and did any of the contacts result in an adoption? My doctor didnt tell me I cant drive, but I have heard you cant drive til 2 weeks after birth. Why is this? I tried to look online and all i found was stuff on sex drives after pregnancy.

I have custody of my daughter, and this weekend shes suppose to have visitation with her mother. yesterday her mother was arrested for fraud and forgery, with bond set a one hundred thousand dollars, therfor. my daughter isnt going to be able to see her mom this weekend, shes kindof aware of what she did, but i dont know what i should do to explain why shes not going to be able to go to her house this weekend, should i tell her the truth, or should i make up some kind of excuse?....i dont like to lie to my daughter

My 3 year old will be great up until bedtime. We do our "routine" (brush teeth, sing songs, say prayers, etc...) and all is well until it's time for us to leave the room. That's when it begins... hours of "I need to go potty" "I'm scared" "I need another kiss." I might go in a few times to soothe her, but when enough is enough she will scream for hours. Normally she is pretty well behaved and doesn't have too many tantrums. I try to let her just cry until she falls asleep, but she doesn't stay in her room and it goes on for literally hours on end. I have tried offering rewards when she does well and punishments in the form of a quick spank or taking away a treat the following day. I am desperate as I am 35 weeks pregnant and need to rest at night!!! Any ideas for a desperate mother? (Please keep it nice)

my sons have shared a bedroom for the past 5 years. they are 6 and 8. my oldest is wanting his own room while his brother is a little panicky about sleeping alone. (they dont share a bed) should i give my oldest his privacy and indepence or should i give my youngest his comfort and security? and if not now what do you think is a good age for this?
