Well i think if he is OK with you getting a sperm donor then sweetie i think you should go for it. He has given you his blessings and he says it's OK i think you should do it a child is a gift regardless of were they come from just as long as both parents love and cherish this child it doesn't matter

Are you SURE he is ok with it? Have you seen a doctor? I don't think you should jump into a sittuation like that, think it over for awhile! Also I dont quit understand.....you cant afford a fertility? Have you 2 seen a doctor? Are you sure he is shooting blank's? And if you CAN'T afford "a fertiltiy" then how do you plan to afford a sperm donor? Unless you are going to meet some random guy..then have to worry...does he have an std? Family medical problem's? And how will THAT GUY feel about being "just a sperm donor"? Mabey HE wan't to be the dad (very doubtfull tho if your are getting any random guy!) ALSO you may go out have a one nighter with this "sperm donor" and NOT get pregnant! Then how will your husband feel? You should wait!!!!!
It's not bad using a sperm donor but I don't think you are ready!

Well i would completely agree on other motives to get pregant if you both are completely okay with that idea and either use a sperm bank or get someone u and him can get to know and if the person is D&D free and also you have trust with this person then go for it....People want to critise me for putting my question up here but ya know there are people like you and him that could use other peoples help if they are willing to.. But Go For It GirlFriend.

not bad, but do you have someone in mind
and if he gave you the OK get it in writing (too many shi...t can come up if a divorce should occur) anyway thinks should be done by a lawyer
for yours and the child protection

If you're both financially and emotionally stable for a child... and you and your husband are SURE you feel okay with this alternative, then nothing is wrong with it. But I'd be sure he feels okay about it first knowing biologically it is not his actual child.

As long as both you & your husband have no problem with it, I don't think it should matter... it's certainly not 'bad'.
