Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 October 2006

Ok here is my story my girlfriend who is 19 had her last period on the 22nd of sept. but she was early She is now worried that she may be pregnant because she has not had her period and her usual cycle in on the 25-26 of each month. There is a slim possibility she could be pregnant we have had sex twice since both times with condoms and neither time did i ejaculate in the condom i also checked the condom afterward to see if it had burst and it didnt either time. But it is a common thing for me to satisfy her with my fingers and i know you cant get pregnant with your fingers but sperm can stay alive for 3 days and there was a possibility that it could have been exposed to my fingers thoughout the month but it was never noticeable on my hand or should i say i never had a hand full of sperm it would at least be a day.... any ideas to if she could be pregnant and yes we are getting a pregnancy test just in case...

I ovulate and have very regular periods. I have a cycle generally of 28 days and a luteal phase of 13 days. I began to TTC 8 years ago and was never successful until this summer (not trying) I got pregnant , then had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. Now we would like to try again, but we are having no luck. We do not have male factor issues, and my tubes have been checked. I have had thyroid testing in the past, but my new dr. ordered an insulin test to check for resistance. From what I have read, this is mostly related to PCOS, and most of the women with this do not ovulate regularly. I ovulate every month like clockwork. Could this still be the problem for me ?

My very intelligent 2-year old daughter still acts like an infant when it comes to putting things in her mouth. Some of our less sturdy items get ruined from her bad habit. Any ideas of what I can try to break her from this?

For the last four days, my son has been puking after lunch. Even after a few bites today. He has not done this at breakfast, or with his snacks or dinner. He is not acting sick by any means, and doesn't puke alot. I thought it would be simple if it was the same food but Monday it was a Ham Sandwich, Tues. Chicken Noodle Soup, Wednesday Spaghetti...you can see its a variety. I wonder if he his doing this for attention from the babysitter ? Do you think that is possible ? Why else would this start all of a sudden? He doesn't have any allergies, hes not acting sick, no temperature...he's running around playing afterward. Any suggestions? Should I take him to a doctor ?

With my second child (now 3) I had an awful experiance where I feel like I was treated like an annoyance at the hospital! I enden up having to have an emergency C-section for my 11lbs baby that we later found out I had , had gestation diabeties, after they almost killed me , if was like they sent me on my merry way. Does anyone have a doctor or hospital experiance that they thought they were miss treated.

How far along were you when you first started noticing a smell differenct that made you nausated? Today when i went to the store riding in the car made me really sick then i got out and i was okay then we went to mcdonalds and there food just the smell of it i really thought about opening my door and puking in drive thru....

It was the last day of her period because the next day, she pretty much was done. we didnt use protection and We kept going until I was finished. but she told me that she was still on her period and it couldnt happen. but what ive read, says that the ovulation period is at the end or after she is done with her period. Is there a high chance at her getting pregnant? even though she was on her period but it was at the end and she knew she was still cycling, can it happen? I need some answers, thanks

My husband and I have been trying for a baby, the thing is that we want one so bad maybe we push it a little (i know it's bad) the question is that about 2 months ago before I took a pregnancy test and it came out a very DARK nevagive!! ..About two or three days ago I took another one and it was a still negative but it was very very light for some reason...It was the same type of test taken the same way..and the reason I took the second one was because..latley I've been feeling very sleepy tired, I cry for absoulutly no reason, my mood swings are driving my poor husband off the wall, and I had experienced some nausia. So should I give it some more time, is it true the baby is just forming so I took the test too soon? Help me out here..! Thanks in Advance for taking the time to read this..!

my daughter is 37 weeks.today she is really fealing a lot of pressure down below where the babys head is it looks to me like her stomach droped.please tell me what this means. thankyou i domt mean to be dumb but i never had that happen to me.because like i said my babys were all side ways.forgot to say she cant even stand strait.its not real painful just a lot of pressure.

see i like to have names that are reraly heard of not well known ya know? something like braydon or leshaun but not so much that.for a boy i wouldnt mind havin a different name that no one else has b/c i dont my kids to have the same name as everyone else around them.for a gurl ive alwaysed liked aaliyah but i dont feel right naming my child after her but something along those lines.

Our child photographer claims you can, when she offered our kids a treat if they behaved for the session. She meant after the session. They took this to mean treat NOW and melted down when one wasnt provided. She claims this works for her all the time - which I think is a load of $@Q! Plus, our reading had said not to bribe with food, as this creates future bad eating habits associating food with rewards. So they basically hadnt been exposed to this concept.

i am 17 and ive never had it before but now me and my bf are really thinking about it, the question is today his penis was just teasing my vagina and vice versa but it wasnt in it was just around rubbing NOT IN. Since my son has been old enough to roll over in his sleep he has thrashed around and literally goes from one end of the crib to the other in the middle of the night. Is this normal or healthy? I am concerned he will still be doing this when I try to move him to a toddler bed.
