Sorry, that is sort of a funny question. Before I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter, I can remember going into the grocery store and being able to smell each fruit and veggie they had in the produce area that was on the other side of the store. Luckily I never got sick, but all aromas were multiplied by 100 for me from about 6 weeks til the end of my first trimester. Hopefully theses things will calm down for you soon. Best of luck, it is all worth it!!

Everything hit me all at once, it was like a ton of bricks! As soon as I found out I was pregnant (7 weeks), I felt all the symptoms. I was at my mom-in-law's house and I was sitting in the den, which is in the very front of the house. Someone opened the refrigerator door and I could smell ALL of the food! The fridge is located at the very back of the house. I mean, the house is small, but it's not that small. I felt so sick to my stomach, it was awful!!! :(

When pregnant, especially in the first trimester, your sense of smell kicks in with a vengence.

For most it disappears after the first trimester. For some, it sticks around for the entire pregnancy.

I had a friend that couldn't drive near a fried chicken place without having to get out and barf.
