if you are at least a week late then i would try it again in the morning with your first mornings urine, that is when it is most accurate. then i would see the results, however if you are not pregnant, then i would wait for a couple of more days and try to relax because when you stress and worry about it it will not come. i know i am very irregular and i used to think i was pregnant all the time until i started not to care anymore. before people think i am a hoe no i am married and i was always worried becaus ei am mrs. fertile mertile, anyways if you still haven't started within 3 or 4 days after you have taken the test then i ould go to the doctor and have him run some tests and make sure nothing is wrong. hope this helps, holly

Let me start by saying, you can get a false negative, they happen a lot less often then a false positive, but it can happen. I was pregnant with my daughter, took the 1st test and it had a very light positive, so I took it again a few days later it said negative, I was more confused so I went to a clinic and they did a test that came out positive 7 1/2 months later I had my daughter.
Okay, with two negatives in such a short time, I would have to think that you are not pregnant. But if you still have any doubts, find a planned parenthood in your area and let them do the test.
You need to relax, don't try so hard. The doctors told my sister to experiment with different things, to change and lighten the mood, this way your thoughts are not so focused on getting pregnant. She decided that for 2 weeks she was going to try different things, just to lighten the mood and see what happens. Each of them wrote down some fantasies and over the next two weeks they experimented with a few. She took a day off of work and turned the bedroom into a romantic getaway, complete with champaigne and candles, she went and bought a very seductive piece of lingere and basically seduced her husband when he came home. They bought sex games and said that it took a few tries, after laughing their butts off, but the games became fun and led to more fun. They did some role play. They had nights were they were sexual and intamite but never followed through with the act. To close off their two weeks, they spent a weekend in a little bed and breakfast about 4 hours away from home, with no phones turned on, no TV, nothing but the two of them focusing on each other. A little over a month later she called everyone over for dinner to announce that she was pregnant. What they were doing the night they concieved, we are sure and they are not telling, but they said that those two weeks (with or without getting pregnant) changed their relationship in a good way.

I would advise you to not try so hard. Remember, practice makes perfect. I would also tell you that with the one I am currently carrying I tested too soon. I even had the doctor order a blood test and it was borderline. I had to wait and have a blood test two days later to see if I was pregnant or not. LOL.. Maybe you just need to give it more time. Good luck I hope you are!

Could just be the pigmenting additive they use in the test wasn't mixed as strong. Wait a week and take another test. I know that seems like forever in the situation you are in but try to relax, if you are pregnant you don't want to cause the baby undue stress. If you really want to know NOW though you can always go to a local health clinic and get a test done!
Best of wishes to you and yours!

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

You should wait a while. Sometimes it can take up to 30 days to confirm pregnancy. Go to your doctor and ask for a blood test. If you take a pregnancy test a week or so after you tried for a baby it might come out negative when in reality you really might be pregnant. So just go to your doctor :o)
Hope this helped!

If you want to be pregnant so badly you may be thinking about it so much that you have actually brought the symptoms on yourself. Psychosomatic. Just try to relax and not think about it so much.
But the color on the test could be linked more to what time of day that you took the test and how concentrated your urine was. They have tests that are made to detect early stage pregnancies. Or just go see your doc. Even if it doesn't show up on a urine test, it could show up on a blood test!!!
Good luck!!!!

The darkness of the negative sign doesn't matter, even if it's the same brand of test. But, i would wait it out and test again if you don't get your period. As far as the symptoms, many women experience those when they are trying to get pregnant. But, for you and your husband i hope that they are genuine symptoms and i hope the next test is positive.

OTC pregnancy tests are not atrue science. I do know you can get a false negative but rarely a false positive. If you really want to know, go to your local health department and they can do a blood test and you'll know for sure. Most of the time this can be done free or at a reduced rate depending on your income.

I think you should give it some more time. You may be experiencing these problems because you want a baby so bad. I know its crazy but you can fool yourself into these things. The moodiness could be a sign of your impending period as well. I know you want one but try and relax and have fun trying to make a baby. Maybe relaxing will help out greatly.
