Okay, this is the best way I can describe it: Sometimes during the day, I suddenly realize that I'm holding my breath-- although I'm not actually holding my breath, my stomach (lower abdomen included) is just tightening. I then take a few deep breath, and I start to feel more relaxed. It's not painful. I feels like anxiety, but I'm not anxious, and I'm not surpressing my anxiety, either. Could it be my belly expanding? or something? I've had this anxiety feeling for the last 2 months, but it's getting more frequent now.

I have just done a pregnancy test and its positive. But I do not want to have a baby now as I am due to leave for 18 months overseas. I am supposed to leave in 6 weeks time. I have only been seeing the father for about 8 weeks. He is a lovely guy but I don't know if he is the one for me and I am sure he would want me to keep the baby and for me not go to New Zealand. Any suggestions?

Would symptoms of pregnancy show up by a month and a half after having sex? Not the sperm and egg meeting just sex. I know sometimes symptoms dont happen at all. The symptoms I've heard of are ... Increased uriation, tender/sore breasts , morning sickness.

What else? and whats the chances ABSOULTLEY NO symptoms occur?

I babysit a 5 years old boy who cries over taking a shower and brushing his teeth every single day. He would rather stand and cry in the bathroom for over an hour than take a shower and/or brush his teeth. In fact, I brush his teeth for him everyday but he still refueses. I explained to him the consequences of not bathing and getting his teeth brushed. Occasionally he accepts it, but what can I do to make him like shower and getting his teeth brush? I do not have a bath tub to bathe him, so he showers.

I'm a young mother (20 to be exact) and the people that know me always ask me for advice, and tell me I am such a great mom. When I go out into the actual real world people look at me strange and question me and I noticed it with their facial expressions and so on. I'm 20, married, two beautiful children, homeowner, and very mature for my age. People cannot look past my appearance. I went to the mall today to buy a halloween costume for my daughter, and there was a older mother that couldn't handle her three year old and left her 1 1/2 year old sitting in her stroller by the elevator. I don't judge her, because she probably has a tired boy and she didn't have a double stroller like I have. People like my sister give young moms a bad reputation, but I am a great young mom, but how do I deal with the uproar in society? The judging faces, and the mothers not wanting to play with my son and daughter? I will not cut my hair, wear cardigans, and mom jeans all the time to fit in!

and he's acting like it's some newfound torture technique.
any tricks i can try? should i skip to fruits, just so he doesn't get so upset at the get go and think eating is a horrific experience? my firstborn had no problems eating....but the way this one screams, i'm afraid he's gonna choke, even though there is hardly any in there, and he spits that little bit back out. he takes it in his bottle just fine, so i know he is familiar with the taste---and i'm making sure it isn't thick at all for him......
i could no joke feed him 10 times with just one little spoonful of cereal. help please!!!

My son just turned 1 year old a couple days ago and hes been on and off walking now but ive noticed that hes been walking with his one foot sideways(he walks on the outside of his right foot but normal on his left food)i dont know if anybody has experienced this before but id like to know or have an idea whats going on before i take him to the doctors!

I am 22 weeks pregnant and have been feeling my baby kick for two weeks now. Only little kicks and punches but I was still feeling him. I went to the doctors on wednesday and everything sounded great but I havent felt him kick me since then. Should I be concerned or am i still too early to be worrying bout this?

The dr. has prescribed all kinds of RX allergy medicine for him, all of witch I do not like the effects they have on him. Most of them make him feel worse (it seems) or so irratable and contrary no one can deal with him, or knock him out cold and that scares me! Could there be any long term effects on him?

She would put him in as soon as he's sleeping, but then he would wake up and cry and cry until he's picked up. He would rather stay up all night if it meant sleeping in his crib. Any suggestions?
