I want to do a plaster outline of my belly but I am sceptical. We bought the kit for hand prints but can be used for this project. Any suggestions?

My son is turning 3 years old in December, and I need some ideas for the theme. Since it's a winter party, it's hard to think of anywhere, and it can't be at my house, b/c we're moving, and not Chucky Cheese. He loves Curious George, but I want it creative.

I had my baby last Saturday and I tore, so I was just wondering how long it will take to heal. When I was in the hospital it didn't hurt to go to the bathroom and the pain wan't really that bad the rest of the time but now it hurts to go to the bathroom and I get sharp pains and it really hurts to move around

She has 4 bottle feedings every day, and at least one 2nd foods jar of veggies before noon and a bowl of cereal with a 2nd foods jar of fruit every night. Most of the time she will get another stage one size veggies in the afternoon, but sometimes we are not home for it and she does not get hungry.
How much should I try giving her every day? I'm never sure if I try to give her more if she will want it, and I am a first-time mom so I am not sure how much babies her age eat?
Is there anything I can make her myself, like pureed in the blender?
What will she be able to eat when she gets teeth? She already tries to pick up any food that lands on the high chair tray lol, even though it is too mushy!
Any personal experience or sample daily schedules will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

My 18 year old sister confided in me that our step-dad who raised us since she was four gave her an inapporiate message (he started on her back went down to her thighs and wrapped around to her stomach) She doesn't want to tell my mom because she wont believe her (which is probably true, I know from my past experience with her with this sort of thing even though ther was evidence). She says she'll never talk to me again if I do. She doesn't want to move cuz she starts college in Jan. and they'll pay only if she lives with them untill then. The whole situation makes me sick and I don't know if I should tell my mom even though she won't believe us and my family will probably never talk to me again and if there's any legal action that could possibly be taken?

Is it normal to have feelings of depression?? I am 5 wks PG... I have a history of miscarrage, and do not remember having depression with those. So far all tests point to a healthy pregnancy, I have some of the symptoms like sore breasts, frequent urination... but I don't have morning sikness, which I have been told is a strong sign of a healthy pregnancy...

words of advice and wisdom would be greatly appreciated....

A friend of mine made a comment that it was odd how my boys (5 and 8) always have shoes on inside the house. I usually wore shoes inside growing up as did my wife. My youngest usually takes his off a couple of hours before bed, but my oldest is shoed until bedtime. I know other families that are the same way so I know we are not the only ones that have a shoes on preference. I think it looks better, is safer and makes leaving the house faster.

There are many children on my street and the youngest is 2 they have no respect for anyone's home and yard. When someone is driving down the street going 15 mph or less the children don't look both ways to see if a car is coming, and if they actually see the car they will still stand in the street. I can't tell the parents anything else because they do not listen. what should I do?

If I were to find out today (age 41) that I was a product of a rape or an incest, would I still want to be here and be alive??? Absolutly!!! Yes It would have it's mental effect and it would bother me however I would still want to be here. NOBODY but God alone has the right to tell me that i will never have the chance to live. There's No "Choice" about it. Life begins at conception and once conception in made GOD made it and NOBODY has the right to take it away. Ok my son and I have been doing pretty good with nursing for four months now but suddenly he's been pulling off my nipple until the very tip and sometimes he'll suck and sometimes he'll bite but now my nipples are so sore that I don't even know when he's doing anything. From the moment he latches on until he stops it hurts. I still nurse but I want him to stop biting so it doesn't hurt... They told me to tell him when he bites me to say "no, mommy isn't a bite toy" and offer him a real bite toy but now I don't know when he's biting... This happen to anyone? I don't want to wean him, any suggestions?

She is almost 8 months now, but I am just curious if any other mothers experienced this:
For probably the first month, every time I woke up I would panic and start looking for her! I would move the sheets everywhere and try to find her. This only lasted for maybe less than a minute, but I really freaked out! She NEVER slept in bed with me, but for some reason I would do this when I woke up. Is it because you hold them so much when they are little and you are so sleep deprived that you don't know what's going on lol? Or is it separation anxiety or a combo of the both?
My mother said this never happened to her, but I'm curious if it happened to any of you?

My daughter is 5 months old and from her birth I have only breast fed her. Every once and awhile when she would be left with my mom for a few hours I would leave a bottle for her to drink, but she just flat out refused it.
It seems as though the only thing that she wants is my breast. I have tried pumping out my breast milk and putting it in a bottle but even that doesnt seem to work. DShe doesnt even like pacifiers. Im wondering if anyone has any ideas as too how to move her from breast too bottle.

I have a sickness and I am pregnant. I have a son already who is fine. I don't know what I am having but I do know I don't want anymore kids after this one. I want a little girl so bad so I could have my pair. If I have a boy again, by the way the baby is okay, my hubby wants to eventually try for a little girl. He was an only child. What are the odds of me having a little girl? And what if I have a boy again, should I consider trying for a little girl in the future? I just afraid of putting myself and another baby at risk for complications. Everything is fine now though.

I posted this earlier and only got 1 comment, I would really like to know what some of you have experienced like this.....

I had a little pinkish brownish light coloring in my mucus yesterday and today I have some PMS like symptoms. I have a little bloating and my stomache (lower, like abdomin) seems kind of firm, and right above my hairline feels a little knotted sort of. I took a test earlier and it was negative, which I expected, but I am going to try in a few more days. I never, never spot in between periods, I am very regular. I think it might have been implantation bleeding. If so I got pregnant right before my last period. I was pregnant last year and lost it and the date of concieving was a day before my period. I didn't have implantation bleeding then and hardly any symptoms because it was in my tube. I am trying to give plenty of details so I can get some good advise.
