You should move your baby from breast to sippy cup.I breast fed all 6 of my children and i never had any luck with using bottles, after they get that breast they will never want a bottle.Go het a sippy cup,she will be able to drink out of it better then she would a bottle.

I had this same issue. I exclusively breastfeed and my little guy never liked the bottle. I pumped too, but in the end I couldn't be gone too long. I'm fortunate that this is possible for us.
All I can tell you is to hang on!! In just another month she'll be enjoying more solids and with every week that passes it'll be easier.
Like the other person said, sometimes you just have to try many different nipples for the bottle before she finds one she likes.
Good luck & hang in there!

I"m afraid that your daughter probably will never want to transition to bottle feeding. I nursed all my children but I learned a lesson with the eldest. I nursed him exclusively and he never accepted a bottle. He took a cup and that was it. When I had my daughters I made sure their father was very involved and he gave them at least one bottle a day from the very beginning, so I never had a problem with them. Of course the trade off was less milk for them. I wish I had a better answer for you. Good luck!!

Most babies won't take both. Neither of my kids would take a bottle. Are you considering weaning her from the breast totally? If you are, you'll just have to keep trying and trying until she gets it. You may try different nipples as well. There may be some that she prefers over others. I encourage you to keep nursing though if possible. It's so good for you baby.

There are a couple of ideas. I fed my son from a cup while he was an infant. It was messy compared to a bottle, but it worked. Also, try alternating what is offered. The last is the toughest, but most reliable. If she won't even take breastmilk from a bottle or cup, then you might have to let her get hungry enough to take what is offered. She won't starve to death. It sounds mean, but if you are determined not to breast feed and she won't take from a cup or a bottle, then you have to let her get hungry enough to take what you do offer.

you do no longer could clarify to everybody your motives for giving up breast feeding - it is none of their business enterprise, you do what's maximum suitable for your self and your loved ones as quickly as I replaced from breast to bottle for tremendously lots an analogous motives as you, i did no longer convey any and that they have been very sore and engorged for 5 days. i could advise if achievable like somebody else stated perhaps expressing slightly just to take the stress far off from the breast on your very own convenience - ultimately you will provide up producing the milk

Honestly I breast fed mine until they were a year old and they never took the bottle. Only the cup. I'd help you if I could.

You might want to try giving her the sippy cup and skip the whole bottle phase if she still refuses...have you tried giving her the bottle yourself? My son wouldn't take the bottle from me because I nursed him, but he would take it from my husband. Keep trying or again, try the cup.Good luck!

I would suggest you mix your breast milk with some formula milk. Even though I did not breastfeed, I did have to move my twins from Neosure 22cal formula to a 20cal similac formula. We were told to mix one formula with the other until they could no longer taste the difference.
Good Luck!!

you may find that she doesnt like the feel of the teat in comparison to your breast.....you can try different shaped teats but i have found that if you introduce a spout cup for milk that this method is easier.......they tend to welcome a totally different thing rather than just a little bit different.....she is old enough now to feed through a spout.....good luck
