if you have no money...go to the hospital...the social worker at the hospital should be able to set you up on a state sponsored insurance program...it is actually for the child but since your pregnant it will cover ultra sound and all other medical bills pertaining to your pregnancy...it is different programs in different states but is a federally funded program so if your in the US your fine...it will also go back 3mos. you need to be going to the Dr. regularly if your pregnant and should be on pre-natal vitamins. gl and take care of your self and your baby...there are people who will help you just have to ask.

WELL THIS IS VERY SERIOUS AND YOU NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION RIGHT AWAY! THERE IS A CODE OF ETHIC'S THAT ALL HOPITAL'S HAVE TO FOLLOW BY STATE LAW THEY CAN'T TURN ANYONE AWAY REGARDLESS IF YOU CAN PAY OR NOT! THEY DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK YOU TO FILL-OUT A FINANCIAL SUMMARY OF YOUR INCOME AND REASON WHY YOU CAN'T PAY THIS IS USUALLY NO MORE THAN 2 PAGES AND HAS GENERAL INFO. SO IT IS WORTH IT TO MAKE SURE YOUR BABY IS OK . THEY WILL ALSO TRY AND HELP YOU APPLY IF YOUR STATE ALLOWS FOR EMERGENT MEDI-CAL JUST FOR THAT VISIT AND PROCEDURE! IF YOU FEEL YOU CAN WAIT YOU CAN ALSO CONTACT THE LOCAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS THAT ARE TRAINING FOR ULTRASOUND TECH. THEY ALWAYS NEED PATIENTS TO USE AS STUDY CASES AND THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG THEY HAVE AN OVERSEER WHO WILL GET YOU MEDICAL ATTENTION ASAP! PLEASE DO NOT WAIT GO TO THESE PLACES ASAP IF YOUR BABY HASN'T MOVED IN A FEW DAYS! IF YOU HAVE A DR. CONTACT THEM RIGHT AWAY LIKE YESTERDAY! GOOD LUCKY AND MAY THE ANGELS WATCH OVER YOUR LITTLE ONE!

Go to the nearest hospital. Tell them you haven't felt the baby. They will take care of you there.
An ultrasound is something that a doctor has to order for you, and you can find a doctor who will do that for you in a hospital.
You are very right that you won't be able to get the $65 from anyone because anyone who cares what happens to you wants you to go to a hospital and get decent care.

Don't they have a Birthright in your area. Those are sponsored by Planned Parenthood and they allow a free ultrasound if something might possibly be wrong. Call your local Planned Parenthood and they'll let you know were to go for free prenatal care so you can get an ultrasound.

J DJ is right; find a public hospital. You may need to wait in a long line, but at least you can take care of your worries. Have you been seeing any doctors during your pregnancy?? You definitely should. I hope you can find the help you need. Good luck.

Go to the ER now! If you live in the USA they can't refuse service to you. I can't believe that they would not help you, because you can't afford an ultrasound. You may qualify for public assistance too.

There should be a local center that will be able to help you. Start searching the phone book and the internet for board of health or pregnancy clinics etc.

Why don't you go to social services...they have a program called WIC, and they will help you get your prenatal care. If you can use the computers in the library, do a search for free prenatal care in your area or call hospitals or women's clinics for information on help paying for/services for people who need help paying for prenatal care. There are people in your area that will help you, just look for them and don't get stressed...the baby feels that-it needs you to be calm and strong for it.

OK, they won't ask you to pay up front, so go get it done!
There must be some sort of public-health insurance in your area to cover pre-natal care for those without private insurance. (Here in California, it's Medi-Cal.) Go tomorrow to your local welfare office and sign up for it. It will retro-actively cover your ultrasound.
