Would symptoms of pregnancy show up by a month and a half after having sex? Not the sperm and egg meeting just sex. I know sometimes symptoms dont happen at all. The symptoms I've heard of are ... Increased uriation, tender/sore breasts , morning sickness.

What else? and whats the chances ABSOULTLEY NO symptoms occur?

Thank you everyone for replying to my questions, I know it sounds cheesy but you all helped me.

After a month and a half, you should have missed a period by now. That would be the big sign to check for a pregnancy. Also, you may very tired or irritable and very hungry instead of nauseous. You can DEFINITELY have the symptoms by 6 weeks of pregnancy. Some women get sick by the second week, some women don't feel anything for months after getting pregnant. If you suspect that you may have gotten pregnant at this sexual encounter six weeks ago, you should be able to take a pregnancy test from the drugstore and the pregnancy hormone will show up. If it negative and you still have these symptoms, you need to go to ob/gyn and get checked out.

I am assuming since it has been a month and a half since you have had sex that you have missed your period so why don't you just take a pregnancy test?

I suppose it is possible to not have any of the normal symptoms because every single pregnancy is different, no two are exactly alike.

Take a pregnancy test. You can tell that you are pregnant from symptoms alone as those symptoms could be a sign of many things including pregnancy.

My aunt (a nurse and -- at the time -- mother of 5) was pregnant for nearly 4 months without knowing it.

A good friend of mine (who is obese) was pregnant for nearly 5 months before she found out. (She'd been having nausea, though, which was how she found out. She was seeking medical help for the nausea, and found out she was in her second trimester.)

For me, when I was pregnant?

Fatigue. That was a huge one.

Getting sick at the sight of green vegetables (with the pregnancy that "took", anyway!)

A change in the taste & consistancy of my vaginal fluids (this from my husband, who knew of my second pregnancy before I did).

An increase in the visibility of blood vessels in my breasts (ie: red & blue lines)
