Okay, this is the best way I can describe it: Sometimes during the day, I suddenly realize that I'm holding my breath-- although I'm not actually holding my breath, my stomach (lower abdomen included) is just tightening. I then take a few deep breath, and I start to feel more relaxed. It's not painful. I feels like anxiety, but I'm not anxious, and I'm not surpressing my anxiety, either. Could it be my belly expanding? or something? I've had this anxiety feeling for the last 2 months, but it's getting more frequent now.

yes hun, that is very normal... as a mother of 5, I had them from the time I was like 5 or 6 weeks until I gave birth.... it's just your body adjusting for the birth and a the changes... and I know... you are say ing to yourself.... "getting ready for the birth" because you are only like 2 months along. But your body has to perpare it's self, and it doesn't happen over night. It's take the whole time you are pregnat for it to do it. Now if it starts to get painful, I would consult your Dr. as soon as possible. But they usually don't... so just enjoy and relax... it's a good thing !
~~~good luck hun ~~~
They could be Braxton Hicks contractions. You will have them, and sometimes they can be just as believable as real contractions. You are fine, I am sure. But check with your Doctor.
Good luck Hon.
