It is fabulous being pregnant and not having your period for 9 months. What no one tells you is that after you give birth, you bleed for 2 to 6 weeks straight! Can the ladies suggest a short maxi pad? I am a tampon girl, but you can't wear them immediatley after you give birth. So I am on the quest of the maxi pad that is about the size of a pantyliner? Anyone know of any? Thank you so very much!

You might be thinking....18 weeks, oh my gosh, but yes I recently found out that I am expecting. I have read the book what to expecting up and down, but that is a book. I would just like to know from other people what to expect at my first appointment this afternoon. Thanks a billion!

So here are the Symptoms: Dizziness, Some mild abdominal pains for a few days, Sensitive to sore nipples, Hungry almost all the time, Going to the toilet more often - urinating, Flatulence.. I am on the pill (but forget in the mornings, so I take 2 the next day if I forget - I know its silly) I did have a period, but it ended much quicker than usual - I often have brown discharge for a couple of days afterward my period. I currently have NO discharge at all (excuse the details)... and I normally have a daily light discharge. I also have occasional mild headaches

as ive told you before..my baby cousin sarah is turning 2 in feb,,,last night i tried to give her a bath last night and she started screaming again..but the difference is this time she didnt quit..she kept screaming and then she started hitting and everything( ive already told you about her abuse by her mother) what can i do to help her cope w/ this problem?

My daughter turned 1 a couple of weeks ago. I'm wondering how much cow's milk and how often. I'm basically staying on the same routine we had when she was on formula, I'm just giving her less cow's milk per serving and she's getting no more than 20 oz/day. Am I doing this right?

I took the pill at the beginning of the month and stopped after a week. i had sex and got my period the next day but it was v. lite and lasted only 2 days. im on a 27 day cycle so im 3 days late now. can i be pregnant? or is my body just adjusting to the change in hormones? My son's teacher is continuously asking him and his other classmates questions she should be asking parents as if she is a drill sargent, like he missed school one day and she drilled him for minutes on end, while class was going on, he makes excellent grades has missed maybe three days with Dr. excuses due to being ill, and she seems to drill these kids, how do I approach her about this without being snobby? He is becoming hesitant about going to school..

Dr. is crazy... from week to week his changes he mind about inducing and now has even changed my due date at 40 weeks. My first due date was Oct. 11 and then changed it due to the size of the baby at 37 weeks and said that my due date was now Oct. 5. Which is it? He has told me I was 3-4cm a few weeks ago and now I am 1-2cm. I am going crazy by this man. I can't change doctors because I am so far along and no one will see me. What is a woman to do? He is now wanting to induce on Monday morning.

Firstly, at my nephews B'day party there was a Bouncy castle, I jumped on it saying "I'm the Bouncy castle monster" my niece got frightened by this and the next time I saw her she said "You're not really a monster are you?"
Earlier this week I was looking after my two nieces and did my back in lifting the younger out of her high chair and cursed the pain.
My niece got scared by this and wouldn't look or talk to me afterwoods.
How can I get her to trust me again?

I went to the doc thinking i was pregnant to be told i wasnt.Ive got a wee boy so i know the signs and felt that i was.I was prescribed the pill and took it for a couple of weeks and now ive started bleeding alot.Its the most blood ive ever seen.There was also a big lumpy thing about the size of my palm.It was purple and flesh coloured.Im in absolute agony.Was this a misscarriage??If anyone can tell me exactly what its like please please let me know.Cant sleep going out my mind with worry.Anything at all would be a massive help!!!Thankyou for taking the time to read this.

My brother and his girlfriend (who I think is a sweetie) are expecting a baby in January. Me and my sister are throwing both of them a baby shower later in November, and I would like some ideas for a nice gift for them and baby. They just got their own place and they're all excited.
