I'm 34 weeks along. The difference in how I felt a week ago and how I feel today is night and day. All of a sudden my lower back is wicked ***painful***, it's hard to walk, I can't sleep, my baby feels humongous. Can I really do 6 more weeks of this? Not that I have a choice....!

Just venting. I know that soon it will all be worth it, yadda yadda yadda. Anybody else in the home stretch and feeling miserable?

well in daycare his caregiver tells me how quiet and shy he could be at times, but really, really sweet. He has this participation problem that he needs to work on. I've noticed it since he was little, i thought it was just a phase but it's also a problem in school. Sometimes i find him hard to stay in one place for not even 30 seconds. he's always moving. Anyway, hes realy active though, i was told that he is really smart. im just concerned could him having participation problems and not being able to sit in one place for a very long time a symptom of ADHD/ADD?

just curious. I'm just wondering, for those of you who had periods while you were pregnant, if your hcg dipped down at that time, but your baby ended up to be ok. Just wondering becaue I had a miscarriage, and my hormone levels went back down, but now I feel pregnant again, and although I could just be pregnant again, I'm not to talented with b/c it turns out. it's so early that I'm wondering if I was pregnant from before. They didn't do a pelvic after I had my bleeding, they did it once, then took my blood twice. It was really early in the pregnancy. I haven't taken a test since, and it'd be too early to test if I had just gotten pregnant again. I'm not looking for advice on that.

I want to know if anyone knows if the baby can be alive but not producing the hormone.

My husband and I have one daughter so far, 19 months old. We want four children. I come from a family of 6 kids, my husband from a family of 3 kids. We are ages 21 and 22, so still have many child bearing years left, but would prefer to be done with having chilren before perhaps age 30-35. We love our daughter dearly and are itching for more, but are hesitant because of our financial situation. Is love and faith enough? Whats it like having more children? What is a good age gap between them? Would it be better to wait, or to go with our hearts and not our heads? Would it be too difficult on our1st and 2nd children if there was say a 4 year gap between them, and babies 3 and 4 were closer together? Or is good parenting enough and age gap irrelevant? We really want our children to have a close bond. Any pointers, advice, opinions, experiences, or stories that are relevant to our situation? Thanks so much!

I am having a hard time here. My son is 15 weeks, he was born at 9lbs 8 oz. Im guessing his weight now is like 15-16 lbs. But at night is usually when he wants to eat the most. I do give him rice cereal starting this week and he does great! ( at night). But like last night he went to bed at eight and was up at 12:00- 2:00am 4:00am and then 8:00. Im confused why he needs to drink a 6oz bottle every two hours. During the day he doesnt drink that much. Sometimes he will go from like eight till two in the morning. Like the first stretch of sleep is the longest. I dont expect him to sleep through the night, but not understanding why he needs to eat so much at night. I also try to see if he will go to sleep, but he will go into full out cries. Any help?

My baby is 6 months old and is solely on formula milk. I want to stop breast feeding and wean him. How should I go about it? I'm a working mum and have never used a breast pump. They are very expensive and not so readily available. The problem is my boobs get so full and begin hurting as well as dripping with milk especially if I take tea or have lunch at work in the course of the day, such that I cant wait to get home and feed him. Please advice. How can they stop getting so full and hurting?

Im a single mom, I was thinking if being a "single mom" or incomplete family and no father figure to my daughter can be cause for her having hard time to memorize (specially she is now in grade school.

Our daughter is 19 months old. We are itching for another baby, but arent at a place in our lives where it would be responsible to have another child. We are very much in love, happily married, and enjoy our little girl very much, but we dont think we can support another child yet. However, we dont want the gap between our children to be too big. At the same time, I almost think that it would be good to wait until she is in pre-school to have baby #2, that way there is at least a little time to focus just on baby. And then perhaps have our next children closer together. What do you think is a good age gap between children? Is 4 years too much? I am 8 years older than my brother and we never could relate and had trouble getting along. I KNOW we dont want to wait that long. And we definetly want more kids. What is your personal experience and opinion of a good age gap between children? Should we just enjoy the one we have until things are better, or have another on faith?

My baby is 6 months and I'm planning on having another baby. I haven't yet had my periods and got to learn that as long as I'm still breastfeeding chances of conceiving are very slim.
