Pregnancy & Parenting - 5 October 2006

I just posted a question yesterday saying that I have never had acne before and now I do. My husband thinks it is funny because I truely never have zits. But I also need to go to the doctor because I have had a bladder infection before. But that was when I was 12 and I am now 20. And I have am positive that I have one. I read that bladder infections sometimes go along with being pregnant and that acne does as well. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. My period should be here between the 12th and the 14th. What do you guys think? Could I be pregnant? And if so when is it too early to get a blood test at the doctor. Because I know that Home pregnancy tests are like 4 days before at the earliest

I live in Ga and I have a 1 month old. I have decided that her first name is terrible, I had no idea I would have so many problems with it. I thought it was a beautiful name. But now I would like to change it for free, without going through the courts and as if the other name never existed... Is there anything I can do? Who should I contact?

my 8 yr. old is extremely careless. she leaves jackets, lunchboxes and various items at school. well, today, i discovered she had left her brand new pink barbie boots at school. she wore them and changed into tennies at school for p.e. class. we had successfully done this before. and i reminded her to bring them home. i can remind her and remind her till i'm blue in the face. but she still forgets things. i've tried taking away priviledges, grounding her, spanking her, but it seems that nothing is working. i can't reach her. need some suggestions please!

When my mom was giving birth to me, the umbilical cord got wrapped around my neck and while struggling, I ended up ripping the cord off. Twenty years later, my dad still has not let me live that down! Every now and then he says "I spent 2 weeks taking a class so I could cut the cord properly. I was ready to cut the cord, but nooooo, little miss independent had to rip it off herself." I was choking! It seems to me that my survival was a little more important than cutting the cord. Is cutting the cord something really that important to fathers, or is my dad just being a brat?
