Yes. Clots & bright red bleeding are definitely signs of a miscarriage. Only if you are pregnant. If not pregnant, then it's a sign of a late period.
Miscarriages prior to the 16th week are not stopped, by good doctors. It is a sign that baby is not developing normally.

Clots are perfectly normal, if you are not pregnant. If you were pregnant, you should definately not be passing clots and I would most definately call my doctor! And from someone who has had a miscarriage-I would advise you not to bother with the ER unless your doc recommends it. Total waste of time and they can do nothing to stop it.

if u are preg, it means u need to go to the er, now
and i have had 4, so contrary to previous posts, they can take samples and tell u for sure if that is what it is, and trust me it helps to have this closure so u don't have to beat ur self up and wonder what u could have done if u wait till the dr opens in the am. better to know now if it is happening, if not, there could be another medical reason for it such as tubal pregnancy and that needs taken care of now or it can harm you, not when u can get an appointment at the offfice. just trust me and go to the er and request testing done until u get an answer - it is worth it if u know ur pregnant.

that depends if u r pregnant or not but even if u are pregnent it doesnt mean that u r haveing a misscariage
here are some other signs to look for as well as clots:
bleeding with cramps or pain in the center of ur lower abdomen or pain on one side in ealy pregnancy
pain is severe or contines unbated for more then a day
