You get over it and never think about it again. I'm not trying to sound like a snot but its not good for either of you to think this way. I thought for sure I was having a girl and it took me about two days to start bonding with the lil guy inside me as a boy and now I couldn't imagine having it any other way. He is so perfect and as soon and you see him you will fall in love with him. Wait did you already have your son? if so i don't know what to say...

Dont let anyone tell you you cant be disappointed. I have had 5 boys and 2 girls. And when I was pregnant with some of the boys...I wanted girls. I was disappointed when the ultrasound showed I would be having another boy. But once the baby is here..you love them for who they are...not for what kind of plumbing they have! My sons are great kids who all have very different personalities. I cant picture my life without any of them.

Everyone wants something in life and don't always get it. Don't let him suffer because you really really really wanted a girl. You can always try later and just think if you have a girl next time she will have a big brother to watch over her. But love him and cherish him and teach him everything you can because that boy will one day be a man and hopefully a good one. And just think of the mothers on this site that's trying to get pregnant and God bless you with one. Just enjoy your blessing.

You love your son. I wanted a girl this time and we are pregnant with a healthy boy. We have a son who is 3. You can always try again. That is what we are going to do in 2 years. I am loving the fact that I am giving my husband another son and our son a little brother.

when i was pregnant i really wanted to know the sex of my baby had 5 ultrasounds and at it never showed, i never told anyone but deep down i wanted a girl, when my baby came 5 weeks early, i just hoped it was healthy, when he came out i just thanked god he was ok and thats when my husband told me it was a boy i was so happy because my baby didnt have any problems. Now i know that it didnt matter the sex of the baby because how can i not love these amazing little baby that came out of me. Dont worry you would love it no matter if its a girl or a boy , hes your baby!!

You are gonna love your baby no matter what you have. You will be so happy that they are healthy that the sex of the baby is not even gonna matter. You can not control fate. You can still do the fun shoes and belts and clothes and hats and stuff for a boy. Boys are great.
