Yes definitely if you want to adopt a girl adopt from China cause all they want usually is boys. But if you want to adopt in the U.S. many children need homes in our country also. Congrats.s on wanting to adopt 3 people in my family have adopted and I encourage people to.

Sincerely yours,
Laurie

I think you should check out your local Department Of Family And Children. I personally believe you should try to get a child from here in the states. There are a ton of babies being thrown in dumpsters and being born addicted to crack. Yeah Chineese girls are cute but America needs your help. I would make sure that you and your home are ready for a child before you go to DFC. You could also put an add in the paper. People do it here all the time. If you have the money to cover child labor and prenatal care. There are plenty of young moms that would be willing to do that. Good Luck

satrt by looking into a local adoption agency in your hometown i went to an agency called the cradle when i put my daughter up for adoption as for it being hard it just depends on your individual situation, but no matter what you chose i hope for nothing but the best for you and good luck in your search.

i say china and a girl only for one reason....i saw a documentary many years ago that showed a mother of a newborn girl feeding her daughter unhusked corn, for the sole purpose of killing the baby by choking. the mother admitted this attempt on video tape and was not afraid of prosecution in this matter. that country frowns on births of baby girls, especially births to a family that already has at least one girl. the mindset over there is to give birth to as many boys as possible. just wanted to give you some insight. hope this helps!!

google the information. There a few places to get you started, but keep in mind, it can be long lengthy process and requires so pre-qaulifications prior to even getting started. I know I looked into it myself. It is long, but can have the huge payoff oin the end, because you get to finally have the child..Good Luck

It's a pretty lengthy process, but go and talk to Catholic Charities. They are a good starting point.
