I took the pill at the beginning of the month and stopped after a week. i had sex and got my period the next day but it was v. lite and lasted only 2 days. im on a 27 day cycle so im 3 days late now. can i be pregnant? or is my body just adjusting to the change in hormones? (he only entered me once)

yes you can get preg the pill takes one whole cycle to work

depending on what type and how strong the pill is. i was on the 27 day cycle one and was told that my periods will be lighter because of the pill you can have what they call spots of bleeding they also refereed too this as a false period has your body is getting used to the contraceptive. they also told me to use some other form of contraceptive for the first 7 days so it depends how soon you had sex after starting the course if you are still worried then get a pregnancy test there are places where you can get free tests i.e doctors is one of them.

how long ago did u hav sex? I seriously doubt that your light period the day after you had sex would be affected by pregnancy, it might just be your body being confused with you taking the pill/coming off of it.
Do a test....
Do your breasts hurt? are you peeing all the time? these are natural signs that you may be pregnant.
To answer your question - yes you could be pregnant.

It sounds like your body is just adjusting to starting and stopping taking the pill, i changed my pill once and only took the new one for two days i was bleeding for 2 months solid!!!! dont mess with pills take them as your meant to, i would go to the docs and just see what he says because something could be wrong, and take a pregnancy test

i don't think your pregnant but there like 15 % chance if you really want to put your mind at peace go and see your doctor or take an early pregnancy test that just came out i heard there were very accurate i don't think anyone has good enough answer to your question women body cycles changes and varies its very tough.good luck

There is a chance you could be.. but the best thing is to do a pregnancy test... the more you stress yourself out about it, might cause your periods to be late.. so it is better to do it and then your mind can rest at ease.

yes u could be pregnant it could also be the hormones of the pills that knocked you out of whack.
