Fome everything I have heard, yes. You will have a higher risk of another ectopic and may be considered a high risk pregnancy. I am 5 weeks along after an ectopic. I have already had once sonogram and have another scheduled in 2 weeks just to rule out complications. Your doctor will want to keep a much better eye on you when you conceive again.

I carried a baby to full term after an ectopic. It was in June '97 that I lost my baby that way. I then got pregnant the first week of October that same year. It was a very difficult pregnancy, I was very very sick (not to scare you, just being honest), and they had to induce me the day before my delivery date. She was born healthy and perfect but I'm a bit leery of getting pregnant again. My prenatal care was intensified, I had more visits than normal but everything is ine and she is a healthy happy 8 year old now. I wish you the best of luck!

my friend had 2 ectopics and has had 2 children since the first ectopic. trust in god and in the fact that everything happens for a reason.....trust these things and you will feel more content regardless of the outocome.

good luck.....i feel like you will be able to carry...just keep the faith.

This is a question best answered by your doctor...I have always heard that ectopic pregnancies are something that just "happens" and it doesn't effect any other pregnancies. But that doesn't make my information correct. Talk to your doctor.
