I've had some really funny feelings this month, and now even though I'm on the pill I've noticed some very light spotting for the past three days. Is there any way to determine if this is just regular spotting? Previously I have only spotted within a day or two of my period (that I've noticed). Also, how soon after "implantation bleeding" would a pregnancy test be effective? Of course, I always get worked up and nervous when I feel "funny" during the month. I don't want to do anything permanent, in case I want children in the future, but I'm definitely not mentally or finanancially ready for children right now. Thanks in advance for answers.

Is it important to have some financial security if you have children? I was a stay at home mom for nearly 2 years. I'm having disagreements with my mother in law because I'm making sure I finish college. She doesn't think I need know but I KNOW I have to. My reasons are that if my fiance decides to eventually leave me with our 2 children, I will be financially stable enough to raise our kids on my own. Don't get me wrong, we both love each other very much and have no problems besides the ocassional spat. I just want to make sure I'm don't end up the way a lot of other women do. Is this an important thing to do?

Well I had sex with my boyfriend roughly 1-2 weeks ago. We were having protected sex, as usual. Unfortunately, the condom had ripped. He had not yet ejaculated but there had been precum.

My period was due in the following week but it was late by 3 days. When I had received my period, it was a few spots of dark red, followed by cramps.

Is this a sign of pregnancy or am I worrying too much?

How many of you ladies have started taking pre-natal vitamins and had a successful pregnancy? How long before you started taking them were you trying to conceive and how long after you started taking them did you actually conceive. Me and my husband have been trying for about 4 or 5 months to no avail, and I want to start taking pre-natals in hopes that maybe it will help. And when is a good time to start? Before, after, or during my period, or does it not matter?

I have PCOS. My LMP was 8/25 and lasted 3 days. I ovulated 9/7. From 9/16 to 9/19 I started spotting a brownish mucous (not very much). My period is now 4 days late. We have been ttc for many years, but consistantly for 1 yr. My periods have always been irregular unless I take Metformin and then they are on the dot 28 days. I have been taking Metformin for 2 months again now. Only other possible signs are slight cramps, slight increased sense of smell, belching, and a few hot flashes at night. It's not menopause. I have been tested and nowhere near it. I am so afraid to test for the fear of getting that BFN. Has anyone else exerienced this and been pregnant? All answers and help are much appreciated. Baby dust to all!

I am a 25 year old man. My wife and I are going to be trying for our first baby in a few months.

I have no reason to think I might be infertile. But I am still nervous that we won't be able to have a baby.

We have been wanting a baby for sometime and I am worried our dream of being parents won't happen.

My wife's doctor doesn't think she will have any problems concieving either.

Is it normal to worry like this?

We live with my mother-in-law, and she has a nasty a$$ dog who pi$$es and $hits everywhere he wants.... 2 days ago he pi$$ed on my 5 month-old's "Bebe Pod" ( a little baby chair that helps them learn how to sit) and I didn't realize until AFTER she sat on it!!! eww.... I was soooooo mad! I was freaking out! I mean, what if she touched the urine and then put her hand in her mouth???? What are the chances of her getting some kind of disease? I asked my mother-in-law if she thought the baby could get sick and she said "oh, the baby will be ok", you know, she didn't seem very worried, but I AM... dogs are nasty! Do you think I'm overreacting?

We are going to start trying for our first baby in 3 months. My wife bought a gender neutral nursery set that she loved recently because it was being discontinued.

I was going to take everything out of our guest room and make that the baby's room. I was going to paint it now a before she gets pregnant. Its going to be sage green, so its okay for a boy or girl.

Should we just keep all the nursery stuff in the closet and keep the newly painted room empty?

Is it okay to set up a nursery since we were given a used crib and dresser from friends?

Should we wait until she is 3 months pregnant? Or is one month pregnant okay?

All the nursery stuff is in the packaging still.

When do you usually set up the baby's room?

If a woman says to a single guy that her boyfriend is away and not back till December, and that she lives alone in her aunties house and her auntie is on holidays for two weeks and that she's free in evenings and that it's boring for her, and that she hasn't made any friends yet cuz she's new in town, could she be possibly be asking, or looking to spend some time with that guy? I mean like could she be looking for some action with that guy?

And the experienced guys out there how do I go about asking her out or something in order for "that thing" to happen??? I really think she's trying to tell me that she wants something...

I just put up a question about a young female who thinks she knows everything and I didn’t get many responses. I would really like a few more opinions on this. This child seems to be a little immature for having a baby at her age, and does not seem fit. Why would someone want to have child when they are just a child themselves? What are your feelings about what this girl (defiantly not women) is doing? I fear that she is putting it into other little girls’ heads that it is okay to have children at a young age. I wouldn’t want my child around such a ignorant child who thinks it’s “okay” to have a child. Don’t you think any children born to parents 18 or younger should be taken away from the parents and put into a better home?

Here is the question I’m talking about:

I am wondering if my actions as a parent are okay. My 13 year old daughter confided in me that she got her first kiss. I told her that I was happy for her and I am glad that she shared the news with me. I jokingly said that it better not have been open mouth or longer than 3 seconds. She is way to young for anything more.

I am wondering if this was a normal age and if my being okay with it is wrong. I am happy that she was honest, yet I had to let her know that she was to young for anything more.

Thanks and I hope this question is more clear.

Hello everyone! My husband and I have been trying for almost a year now to get pregnant and have had miscarraiges. I know that there is nothing that can be done with the miscarraiges but if there are some remedies, positions, tests, etc that can boost the chances of just getting pregnant. I don't want to get over obsessed with ttc like I have been in the past but I would like some sutle things that I can do, change and even do with out.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

ok, well there's this kid in school, and we both hate each other, but today when i was walking into a classroom to get something he was in there, and my friend said hi to me, so I turned around and I saw him just smiling at me, and I just wanted to go up and smack him, but I didn't, and then the next period when we were lining up to go to rec. he kept on starring at me, and I don't know why. so does he just have a starring problem, or was there something on me, or did my hair look weird etc. what do you think?
