Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

This is difficult to differentiate sometimes, but you must know that some boys are just genuinely nice and want to have girls as friends. Most of my friends are boys and none of them like me as anything more than, though depending on how they act, I could sometimes wonder. If it would make you feel any better though, I would try to ask him in a way which will not make him feel uncomfortable or obligated to answer in any way. Otherwise, it could easily jeopardize your friendship. Just bring it up casually in conversation. Say something along the lines of "I just wanted to talk to you about something, but don't get all weirded out. I just wanted to make sure that we both understand each other, and just to clarify, you don't happen to like me as more than a friend do you? It won't matter either way, but I just needed to know.", and take it from there. Just be yourself, be friendly, and don't let his answer come between you in any way. Relax, and good luck!

sounds to me like you have a chance at a friendship with a nice guy. That doesn't happen very often these days. Don't get crazy! He has a girlfriend don't read more into his actions than "he's a nice person" who knows how to treat people.

Since he has a girlfriend I wouldn't get too excited even if he did like you but he could be being nice like everyone is saying or he could think your cute but know that he cant touch being that he does have a girlfriend, be careful though don't make it too obvious that you like him just in case he is just fooling with you, make him jealous if he likes you it will possibly make him want you more, then you will find out but be careful.

It sounds like he only wants to be a friend. He is only trying to be nice, however if u do have feelings for this friend you should tell him how you feel, if you think he feels the same way if you have doubt consider what could happen to ur friendship. I do advise u go and talk to him to see if he really does like you.

If he has a girlfriend then he probably only likes you as a friend. If he liked you he would be with you and not with another girl.

well if he's got a girlfriend, i think he would just like to be your friend. Not all guys have romantic motives behind wanting to get to know someone.

after compiling the facts, I've determined that he likes you as a freind, a very good freind, but doesn't love you. if your asking how to get him to love you, you should try reverse pshycology. play hard to get, lure him in.

He might just be really really nice.
I know a couple of boys like that. None of them like me, they're just really nice.
