This Is a Waist of education?One girl I know said shes pregnant,by an 8th grader and shes in 8th grade and everyone is trying to tell her to have an abortion but she wont.what a good way to tell her if she doesent have an abortion,shes waisting her education andd throwing away a chance to go to college?

But that's not true. She can have a baby and with support and a strong mind can finish high school and go to college. I've seen many people do it.

NO ABORTION, that is murder. You may want to steer her in the direction of adoption. There are a lot of really great people out there who want a baby and are physically unable to have them. She can even pick the parents of her child and some adoptive parents will let the birth parents be a part of the childs life or at very least keep them updated on how the child is doing eg: pictures, schoolwork, letters. No, it is probably not a good idea for an 8th grade girl to try and raise a baby, but abortion is a terrible alternative.

Listen abortion is legal and safe and not morally wrong but it is not always the best answer. There are very many other options. She should be talking with her parents not school buddies who have no Idea what life outside Jr high is like. I would also like to mention that I have a very close friend who got pregnant when she was 15,had and kept the baby. she is now 28 mother of 3 happily married and working on her p.h.d. Not common i know but it goes to show that any thing is possible with the rite kind of support.

find some girls who got pregnant young take her to meet them and let her see how glamorous their lives are. Maybe she doesnt want to go to college, or maybe she thinks she can have the baby and do school too (its possible but very very hard) she will need her families emotional and financial support, show her how expensive it is to live, and how expensive babies can be. Basicallly, scare the daylights out of her. Incidentally, it would be a waste of education, not a waist.

wow thats rough. i had my first son a t 16 and thank god everyday day that i did not have an abortion, but this girls gotta be what 13? omg god tough call. no one can make ger do it but i ca'nt imagine this could possibly be a good thing. do you have any friends that have kids young that can talk to her, how bout let her babsit a young baby...(with a little bit of help) for the weekend? good luck in figuring this one out.

It's really sad that she and the boy didn't have enough moral character to abstain from sexual intercourse, but three cheers for her for choosing life. (two wrongs don't make a right).
MANY girls use abortion as a form of "protection", and they end up messed up mentally with guilt, shame and a strong feeling of rejection, realizing that they rejected the innocent child growing within her.
