Well I had sex with my boyfriend roughly 1-2 weeks ago. We were having protected sex, as usual. Unfortunately, the condom had ripped. He had not yet ejaculated but there had been precum.

My period was due in the following week but it was late by 3 days. When I had received my period, it was a few spots of dark red, followed by cramps.

Is this a sign of pregnancy or am I worrying too much?

Honey, take a home pregnancy test and find out. Try first response, the brand really works.

Stress can cause your periods to be late and/or irregular. I think considering the time frame that it was probably a period. Some women experience ovulation bleeding which is normally very light and can last up to 5 days but that normally occurs 2 weeks before your next period is due. Another thing that can cause mid cycle bleeding is implantation bleeding. This normally occurs 6-12 days after ovulation, is brownish pink spots lasting on average 1 to 6 days. I would wait at least 2 weeks after your irregular period before testing to be certain. If your regular period does not return next month I would definitely see a doctor.

It's possible, but you could be stressing yourself out too. Take a test.....I know everyone says First Response, but Answer is made by the same people and quite a bit cheaper, they work just as well, that's how I found out 6 days before my period was even due. If it's negative then try not to stress, relaxing is the best thing you can do either way.

I think you are worrying too much. Stress can delay your period. Just relax and if you really want to know just go buy an ept at the store in a few weeks and find out. As of right now it would be soon to tell in a home pregnancy test. You're best bet is to just relax and see if you get your period next month!

There is a possibility that you could be pregnant. The only way to know for sure is to take a home pregnancy test. Since your period was already due, you should be able to test now and get accurate results. Try First Response. Good luck.

Try not to stress out... that alone could be affecting your period. Just take a deep breath and take a test so you'll know for sure.

I know it's not much comfort now, but if the condom rips again, you can get take the morning after pill within 72 hours to prevent pregnancy.

It's a possibility that you could be pregnant, but stress and excess worry can make your mentral cycle act crazy. Sometimes it can make you miss a cycle altogether. but just to be on the safe side I suggest that you make an appointment with your family doctor. If you don't have one go to the nearest free clinic and ask for a prgnancy test. Good luck
