I had an emergency C section on Friday (5 days ago). They let me leave the hospital after 2 days. No staples, no outside stitches. Just glue.
If you aren't in any pain, is it okay to have sex before 6 wks? (not right now, of course, but before the 6 wks?)

I am 5 days late for my period and I have all these symptoms:
Spotting
Headache
Missed period
Crampy
Tender/swollen breasts (HEAVY too)
Nausea/vomiting
Extreme fatigue
light headed.

Anyways, I took a pregnancy test (we are trying to get pregnant by the way) and it said negative but I didn't take it first thing in the morning. I plan on testing again, but can ANYTHING else be going on that can cause the able BESIDES pregnancy.

I am going to take a test first thing in the morning and if it still comes negative I am going to the clinic in the city to see what is going on, but I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas that can ease my mind a little until I can see a doctor tomorrow.

I am going Friday for a Cesarian. The doc says the baby is between 7 1/2 and 8 lbs.. What weight is normal for a baby that is 3 weeks early? People are driving me nuts with "Dang! He's gonna be big!!!"

If it was a serious question like [I was raped] I'd understand, but to stupid dumb questions like [what should I wear to school tomorrow] why do people write a whole essay? Most people don't [I do] read the long answers. They just look for the short simple meaningful ones. I'm not saying don't write long answers it's just kinda sad, if you waste five min [or however long it takes u to type it] of ur life typing a long answer to a question if u don't get picked as a best answer. Can I keep my ex husband away from me in the hospital when I have my baby.I'm 35 weeks and not been together 4 5 months.All tho he want's me to take him back but he's a crack user and I don't want him around me.He says he's stopped but he is really skinny now.He's crazy and emarrassing.He wants to know everything I do and calls and comes by and always asking how me and the baby are.When I don't anwer phone or door he gets mad and calls everyone i know and harrasses them.we are fine as long as he don't stress me.I don't want him there but will tell him when I get home.If he finds me at the hospital do I have to let him be around me and make him leave.I don't want him to make a seen.If he finds me can I make him leave me alone will i'm in there?

I just had my second child 4 days ago and I was really set on breastfeeding since I had to give it up with my first child. Unfortunately there were complications during my delivery and we both got an infection. When he was born they took him straight to the nicu without me seeing him. I had another c-section so I couldn't go see him straight away and they didn't want him to be fed yet. They told me that after a certain amount of time though when I was able to get into a wheelchair that they would allow me to feed him. Instead they brought me a pump and wanted me to do that. I made it perfectly clear to them that I didn't want him to have a bottle or a binky because I knew it would be harder to switch him. Instead of listening to me, by the time they let me see him they had already given him a binky and several feedings of formula. Needless to say he refused the breast and is still refusing. I asked several times for a breastfeeding consultant to help me switch him and they never sent..

I feel like I have to be super mom. Like I can't take help from any one because I feel like they are trying to take over. Such as grandparents. I don't want my hubby to get up with baby at night because I am worried he won't do it right or hell fall asleep. So I am up 4 time a night and then have to get up to get my five year old off to school. I have to walk her to school. Then I feel ok to do what i need to do while shes at school...such as sleep. But then I ask my mom to pick her up because i don't want to take baby out in cold. And then my mom will help me with her for a while. But I still feell ike I am not doing a good job. Like I am not spending enough time with my five year old. I know that i am but i still feel like im not. Then I feel bad for it. I find myself rushing her into her bedtime routine because I am tired or not feeling well and just want a break. I am just feeling overwhelmed. Like I am being pulled ten differnt ways. Any one have some advice.

okay so whenever after i eat, my stomach hurts! -- no like i mean hurts real badly! i started crying because it hurt so bad!
but anyways, it hurts whenever i eat --anything--
my mom said it might be a stomach ulcer ... but we havent gone to get x-rays yet because she wants to see if it continues.. but are there any suggesstions about what it could be? it really sucks! lol
