jewish preparation for a baby

I didn't really get the question.

There is no law for preparing for a child, there are traditions, and they are different from one community to another.
Some of the traditions consider the baby's name. While it is traditional among the Sephardic Jews that the child will be named after a living person (usually an old relative), the Ashkenazi Jews name their children after a deceased relative.

Religion is way out of control. I dont mean to offend you or anyone but a baby is a baby regardless of religion. I'm Catholic, i dont go to church or anything religious but I still got faith in God and Jesus. Its a waste to raise a child around religion
