Relax Mommy this is pretty normal. if you get stressed so will your Little Person. Try putting your little person on the potty and sing songs. Give praise evon if no pee pee at first. Just relax show her HOW to relax. Try turning on water and PRAISE. when she does go clap! for her, show lots of praise. She will learn and so will you....patience is taught when you are very little, and so is relaxing.

Good Luck Mommy!

Depending on her age, you probably have nothing to worry about- though it can be frustrating. Every child is different, and you don't want to push too much before they are ready. Sounds like your daughter definitely has readiness signs though, so just keep being positive with her. Have you tried a potty chair? Children often have a fear of falling in and can't relax on a big toilet. Also, give her some books to read while she is sitting on it. I used to read to my daughter until she relaxed and was able to go. There are some great children's books for toilet training (she liked the Elmo one that has the sound buttons to push and "Uh Oh! Gotta Go!, by Bob McGrath- or you can just read her favorite stories). My one daughter started peeing in her little potty at 14 months- she always followed me into the bathroom and would try to take off her diaper, so I figured why not? However, she would never tell me when she had to go. I was in a panic 2 weeks before pre-K started (she just turned 3), as she was still not fully trained and they would not let me send her in a pull-up just in case. I finally took her completely out of pull-ups, bought 4 packs of underwear, and made the switch completely. The first 2 days she had an accident every hour! Don't know where it all came from. I made her a sticker chart and took her to the potty every hour. She got a sticker if she peed or was dry (would say it is empty). I she got all of her stickers then she got a prize. I also bought her the movie Elmo's Potty Time (had a couple others, but they didn't interest her as much). She was completely trained 2 days later. Has even been staying dry at night, except maybe 1 or 2 nights a week. Good luck.

Potty training can be very tricky... There are many books, websites and videos out there but every child is different. Some do/get it on the first try. Others patience and trying again and again is the only way. Maybe she just not ready. Wait a little while and try again. Sometimes those potties can be very scary.

Dear this happens to almost every child believe me,i understand theres really not alot you can do id make her sit a little longer and maybe tell her depending on her age that she has to sit there until she goes, and then offer a reward after just to show your proud of her for going pee pee in the potty and not on herself what i used to do is everyday until they got it right id make them sit on the toilet throughout the day and id say you cant get up until you go,and it always worked for me. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my sister had her first daughter and we were trying to get her to learn how to use the potty we would be sitting in the living room and someone would say "I have to go potty" and she would hear them and try to beat them to the restroom and get on the potty before them and if we knew that she didn't want to go we would say "Don't you pee in my potty i have to go, don't you do it" and she would laugh and begin to pee in the potty. As we are in the restroom with her we would also be dancing around like we had to go really bad and she also would laugh about that.

she might just not associate peeing in the toilet just yet. How old is she? Have you gone in the toilet to let her know what is expected of her? Patience is the key

I was the same way. My aunt Gayla sat me on toilet and said I can't get up unless I go pee. When i went she had to it before I flushed.
