I think you should wait until you stop bleeding. I bled for like 2 months after my c-section. That way you don't risk getting an infection. Congratulations on your new baby.

No, the glue can pull and open up the incision. A lot of seemingly normal movements can make the glue stretch/pull(?) and open you back up. Then you will have to go back and get stitches. I did it after my last baby. I went to put something on a shelf a little above my head after 2 days of being home and the glue came off and started bleeding. Went to the doc and got stitches where it had pulled. Doc also said that even after all the glue came off naturally, that the incision would take about 4-6 weeks to be strong enough to take any pressure (sex, laying on stomach, stretching, etc)

My doc told me to wait 6 weeks, but told me on the side that most people dont wait that long. Wait until you're comfortable with it. If you try it in 2 weeks and it still hurts, wait a few more days. I had a c-section back in february, it took me about 4 weeks. But everyone is different with healing.

NO! The doctors always tell you to wait six weeks before having sex, douching, and the use of tampons. You have to give your uterus time to heal. Remember, you had an abdominal surgery. Just TRY and hold out, I know it's hard but it'll be worth it when the time comes.

Wow, with an operation"major surgery" and a newborn...how can you even think of sex? I would be EXHAUSTED..lol But to answer your question, I don't see why not if you are healed and in no pain. Be sure to use protection though, because it is quite easy to become pregnant after just having a baby and also if breastfeeding.

No not a good idea your insides need time to heal. You should wait at least 10 weeks before having sex. Oral sex or forplay is fine, but let your internal body heal.

Well, I did before 6 weeks- but you risk getting pregnant. I had another baby 10 months later!
They say you can get an infection, though. So you probably shouldn't. There are always other things you can do........

You may not feel pain right now but it may hurt when you have sex. Sometimes even after 6 weeks.
