My wife and I are in our mid 20's and are planning our first baby.

We have $2500 left over every month for a baby after everything is paid for. (Our house mortgage and cars will be paid off BEFORE the baby is born.)

How much will a baby actually cost us monthy?

My wife is working part time and we will pay her mother $300 a month to watch the baby and clean.

Childcare: $300
Insurance: $0 (No change to my premiums)
Monthy doctor visit: $10 co-pay
Formula: $0 (wife wishes to breastfeed)
Diapers: $?????
Toys: $????

What will we need to pay for?

I am worried about money because I hear that children are SO expensive.

I worked with this girl about a year ago and she had a daughter at the time. Then she told me and the manager she had to go take a week off because she was getting an abortion. Then a month or two later she's pregnant. She quit the job and I would see her from time to time, she would come in with her daughter and her son. I quit that job and got a new one a few months ago, soon after I got hired I see her there. We make small talk and I see her from time to time working. Then she wasn't there for a few weeks and she comes back and was all "Well I wasn't here cause I was pregnant and didn't want to be so I had it taken care of" I was a little shocked. I mean she barely knows me. I'm very on the fence about abortion I just can't really figure out how this girl can choose when to have a baby and when to have an abortion...it kind of bothers me a little... The way she described it was like going to the dentist and having a tooth pulled...am I being naive? Or can it be that simple?

i'm 16 and pregnant i was not careless nor am i some reckless teen i'm human i make mistakes any way my boyfriend broke up with me because he didn't want to be a father. i never wanted this baby and i don't want to kill him/her.

The title was just to grab attention. I do not think pregnancy is wierd.

This may be gross but here goes...

I am on birth control--a low dose form of the pill. I have missed pills.

I had a period about three weeks ago--it was abnormal. I had brown discharge.

Yes, I have a pregnancy test, but I don't want to waste it on something that just isn't very probable.

I guess the question is:

Is brown discharge associated with pregnancy?

I currently have a 2 1/2 year old and am considering having another child. I worry that if I wait to long that they will not have a relationship. Is it to soon or should I wait until I through with my college education and are more finacialyly stable?

So my friend who is a boy have always like had pointless fights sense 6th grade...nothing serious really untill i found out he liked me.
Last Year in 7th grade i guess i kinda liked me so we went out for 2 m onths broke up and then went out again for about 2 months.
the 2nd break up was just like the fight yesterday over something really dum.b.

he was like aww cuz he wasnted it to be him

It sounds like most of you don't even know how a woman gets pregnant. Or your SO AFRAID to talk to your parents about it. What's up with that. Listen: Any kind of penis - vagina contact can cause pregnancy. Birth control dosen't work 100% of the time. You can get pregnant anytime of the month. Pull out methed is not a form of birth control. OK! If you are afraid of getting pregnant DO NOT HAVE ANY SEXUAL CONTACT AT ALL! PERIOD!
It is not hard to say no! What in the world is wrong with just holding hands and kissing? As a teen you don't need to have sex. You don't need it to be liked. Sex is a loving act between two people who are married. It is not needed before marriage.
Trust me it is not hard to wait. I remained a virgin until I got married in 2001 & I was 28 at the time. And I was well liked in high school and college.

i just had my daughter 3 months ago and my breast milk dried up. I had my tubes cut and burned, could i be pregnant again or do they leak around that time of month. Im not gaining weight or have any symptoms of pregnancy but tired all the time. so is it possible

My daughter is 4 days shy of being 6 weeks old. I have been breastfeeding since she was born, last week I had purchased a new breast pump so I was pumping for a straight week without putting her on my boob to eat. Last Tuesday I went for my 4 week checkup, and she put me on birth control, I have tried everything from the shot, to the patch, to a pill and I get terrible migraines, so she put me on Micronor it has no estrogen in it so it should not give me migraines. Anyways to the point, Most women have told me that breastfeeding will allow me not to have periods, but some women do get them. Well last Tuesday I started taking the pill and the day after I started my period and it is very heavy, Is it because the b/c? or because I was pumping so much? Anyone else have this problem? If so did it last long? or should I call the Dr. because the pill is off the cycle or what?

Sorry if I'm not specific enough.

I would like to know the meaning and origins of this word? Is it hebrew, hindi or both and what it means in either language. I was able to find something saying that it was a Rabbinic judge. I also saw that it is a hebrew surname. I just wanted to know if there are other meanings for it.

I have been with my bf for about 2 and a half years,he never hit me but he did touch me while quarrelling or while teasing me. He is one of those guys that wants things to be done the way he says or else I am grounded.

For example if I don't want to make sex because I'm afraid to have unprotected sex during my ovulation, he won't make any sex for about a month or so rather than use a condom or else he will make sex after ovulation is over but he ejaculates inside as to punish me for not letting him before (that's what he told me) and such other things.
He doesn't like to let me go out with friends, in fact I never did go out with any friends except with him. Today I have spoken to him about taking the pill or making the ring but he definitely doesn't want me to take either.
I'm afraid he might physically abuse me in the future? Are these signs of such things or am I completely wrong? But I find it difficult leaving him, he want let me alone sure of that...I don't know what to do

My daughter is 3, almost 4 and we are still working on the whole concept of reading. My mom says that I was reading before I was anywhere near that old and I feel bad because I know my daughter has the desire, as well as the capability. I am a single mother in college and if finding the time to do my schoolwork is hard, finding the time to sit down and focus on something so anal is harder! I have a very short attention span and very little patients, which makes me feel terrible, but at least I am aware of it. I try! I just have a hard time feeling like I am actually doing any good with the situation. If I don't see quick results, I lose interest. My daughter has the basic concepts down, but we are having a hard time getting past the basics. I am considering getting her Hooked on Phonics for her birthday, along with a Bratz laptop that teaches reading skills along with math and spanish. Does anyone have any other good suggestions for products that would give us a structured environment?

I have always been there since the day she was born and I financially support her through D.O.R. (weekly) and buys her what ever she likes and do fun activities together when I see her each Saturday for 5 hours. She cry whenever I have to take her back to her mother.
