Dont be a loser, If you think your pregnant take the test. Don't miss pills, there is no point in getting them if you dont take them. And dont put up a phoney title, that's just stupid.

You did not give enough information.
How long was your last period? How heavy is it?
If you had normal period (red blood, heavy) for the first 3-4 days, and started to have light brown discharge for the last 1-2 days, it might have been normal period after all.
But if you had brown discharge for the first 1-2 days of your period (very light), and then your period stopped completely after the brown discharge, then it does not seem like a normal period at all. It seems like you have experienced implantation bleeding (when the fertilized egg attached itself to the uterus lining), and that certainly indicate a pregnancy.
It's 3 weeks ago. You should try a home pregnancy test. You've missed pills, so the chance of getting pregnant is very probable. You have the pregnancy test. Use it.

That's no big deal. Wait until you're actually late a day or 2 to take the test,, esp if you're on the pill, you're not likely to be pregnant. It's the lining, ya know, not fresh blood from the blodstream, and sometimes it is a little bit brown or a little bit late, no biggie.
What you can do if you are sure you don't want a baby is call the doc and get the morning after pill. That way at least it's early stage preventive and yu wouldn't have to have an invasive surgical abortion or a child you are not ready to have.
Good luck...

As far as I know brown discharge during pregnancy is either associated with implementation bleeding or ectopic pregnancy. I am a bit confused with your question as you say that your period was normal and directly following this brown discharge??? do you mean that your period was brown discharge? as this is not normal. Since you missed pills I would take the pregnancy test, they are not that expensive and pregnancy is one of those things you want to know about as soon as possible for many reason not least to stop taking birth control-good luck to you

Sometimes blood can be a very mottled brown. Even if you are on a low dose pill, you can still start your period up to a week early if you miss pills. You should get a cheap watch with a beeper in it, and put your pills in a wallet with a key chain so you will have both with you all the time. Or, take them before bed, it can be part of your bed-time routine, and the pills are still effective if they are a few hours off.

Don't worry about it, the brown discharge is just old blood from your last period & try not to miss taking the pills because that defeats the purpose if you do.

Before I found out I was pregnant I thought I was having my period but it was a light brown discharge, like you described. I went to the doc just to have it checked and sure enough I was pregnant. My doc said the brown was just old blood clearing out of my uterus. (I know it gross but.....)

if it was only brown discharge for like one day, it is not considered a period, but spotting. Take the test.
If the brown spotting was with your period, that is pretty normal.
Good luck and God Bless!!

Brown discharge can occur with a regular period... Unless your next period is late... don't worry about being pregnant.
