Pregnancy & Parenting - 11 September 2006

My boyfriend and me have been trying to get pregnant for two months. I’m 23 and he is going to be 26. It’s so hard he is a very healthy person and so am I. I took two test and they came back negative. Granted I have not even missed my period, tomorrow I will know the 12th is when I’m supposed to start. I have been having all the symptoms Headaches, cramps, dizziness, wanting to throw up (But haven’t), Always tired, Backaches (not very bad) I can go on.

Why is it that women that can’t even take care of their kids can get pregnant? Yet I’m trying ( I know only two months) and not getting anywhere? It’s hard! :)

Reading the average weight for upgrading to a booster is 30-100 pounds. My daughter is 35lb and almost three, when do you know that they are ready or the recommend age to go to a booster seat without the harness attached to the car seat and using a regular seat belt.

I am 11 years old going on 12 in a couple of months. My club leader said that when you breast, public hair, and vignal discharge comes then your period will come well I have had all those things 1-2 years. When is my period gonna come.

How old were you when you got pregnant? Were you trying?
Were you married? I am 24 and my boyfriend wants another child.
I have never had one. HE has a 4 year old little boy. I want one but I think I might be to young. Then again I want to beable to be young enough to keep up with the child in the long run.

So after having intercourse with my partner last night, when I went into the bathroom right after and wiped there was SUPER faint pink color. Obviously very diluted blood. I am on the pill but missed mine the other night and took it in the morning.
Anyone had this? There was no pain, just a light pink.

Her new boyfriend is kind of nice but i just don't care for him becasue he is totally changing my mom and she always said she would make sure that anybody she was ever with was suitable with me and my bro and sis and that we would come first not them and it is acctually turning out to be the exact opposite!!! As far as I know I can breastfeed even for one year..but I've been told is too much...So, what is the best...can you help me..
Also, I am preocupied now - my baby has been vomitting a lot..I am wondering - could my milk cause any discomfort or stomachache?

last period was on the 21st of Aug. and ovulated on the 6th of Sept. Just wanted to know is too soon to feel pregnancy signs. ie: sluggish, cold like symptoms, urinating alot, feel like never really full but can't eat. Breast are not too sore but they are alittle tender, so is my stomach (can't lay on it like I use too because it hurts alittle bit). I have a 30 day cycle and mense suppose to start on the 19th of Sept. I am going to the dr. on the 28th to find out for sure, but just wanted to hear some other opinions. Thank you guys very much for your interest and honesty!!!!!

Alright Im a mom of a 3 1/2 year old son. His father and I have been broken up for about a year and 1/2. He has a new girlfriend and I have a boyfriend. He tends to let his girlfriend go out with just my son alone(she just had a son with my sons father this past april) Neways. My sister in law called me and told me that her friend saw his girlfriend and my son at the mall with one of her friends and her child. Meanwhile my son ran from her and bumped into someone. His girlfriend ran over and gripped him up by his arm and drug him over into the store and screamed at him and cussed and everything else. Now she isnt his mother. I find that very appauling!!! Does anyone else think that I am just being over-reactive or Is it perfectly fine that I called my child's father up and told him I dont want her alone with my child ever again or I will take her to court so she cant be alone with him no longer!!!

Take into consideration that this girl and I dont get along at all!

I just gave birth to a beautiful little girl two weeks ago and she gets terrible gas pains that have her crying for half an hour after bottles. I have tried different formulas and feeding positions and bottles and Mylicon drops and am running out of ideas! I hate seeing her in so much pain and it's keeping us up all night long! Has anyone ever tried gripe water? Is it effective for gas pains? Help please!

My son dresses kind of like a skater which is fine at least his pants aren't hanging off his butt.. But what do you think about kids dressing habit's and their personality, do you think it's showing who they really are or are they just dressing to fit in with their peers.

My husband and I are going to start trying for our first after January.

We are working out and eating right now, that way when I am pregnant I will be fit and healthy. (That's why we are waiting)

I am going off birth control January 1st since thats when my last pack is finished.

My doctor said I can start trying right away.

This is for pro choicers, I am not against all abortions I am against late term abortions, I have a serious question, if late term abortions are mainly done as a result of danger to the mother or some kind of deformity why are so many( the majority) done outside of hospitals? What woman says, Something is wrong someone, hurry get me to the abortion clinic? If they are done mainly for medical emergencies( which they are not) why do so many prochoice people oppose a ban to limit them to only being performed in hospitals? Can anyone say GREED. Late term abortions fetch big bucks it has nothing to do with a womans right to choose, it has everything to to with $1500 a pop
Would you agree to la ban allowing late term abortions to only be performed for legitimate reasons (not an extra finger) in a hospital?

My son has a speech problem he is in speech class and going to part time preschool. His speech teacher is doing a test to see if he is ready for Kindergarten. He is real smart logically he knows how to figure out how and why stuff works but I cant get him to have patience to help him learn his ABCs Ive been working on him with that since before 2. In preschool his teachers say he is real good and listens well, she has a hard time understanding him but when she asks to point out a letter or a number he gets it right-so Im thinking once he gets in the classroom setting he would do fine. Is that wishful thinking or can that happen? He will be 4 in November and we are talking for next year.



They are doing the test next week - thats why I brought it up now.
