What is the oddest way you found out you were pregnant?

Like you had to pee a lot and thought am pregnant!

I knew I was pregnant when I could smell my grandmother cooking eggs outside of the house! That egg smell wouldn't go away no matter how far I got from it. Then later when she was doing the dishes, I smelled it again! On a soapy dish!

I had a strong feeling then that I was pregnant. That and tap water smelled. Like, alot.
It was all in the superhuman preggo nose :-)

I was told by doctors that I would never have children so I never even thought I could be pregnant. I started having dizzy spells a couple times a week. When I went to my doctor, they told me that I had an inner ear disorder that caused vertigo. Two months went by without periods but spotting, and then I started throwing up. I finally took a home pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant. I was 11 weeks pregnant at the time.

When I miscarried the first time, that's when I found out I was pregnant. It was 4 days after my 18th birthday and 2 days before graduation. I just started cramping really really bad, then bleeding (which I knew wasn't right because I wasn't supposed to start until the end of the month, and I was 2 weeks late but hadn't thought anything of it) I thought it was just stress causing me to be late. I went to the hospital and found out that I was miscarrying and that I was about 6 weeks pregnant. That was pretty hard to take finding out your pregnant and loosing it all at the same time. The second time I was pregnant I just knew because I was around a lot of pregnant girls at work and then one day I couldn't stand to go in the break room because it made me nauses....I took a test about a week later and found out I was pregnant. ( I miscarried that pregnancy on a week apart, they were twins)

i was at a freinds place at the time and i remember telling her i felt dizzy the next thing i know i woke up laying on the couch with my freind on her knees next to me - i had passed out my freind said that she wanted to take me to the drs just to make sure i was ok ( i have some health related issues so she was just worried :) )

about a week later i got a phone call from the doctor telling me i was pregnant i got so excited i told my husband that night two days later the same doctor called back and said it was a false alarm - how in the he1l is that possible? :P

two days after THAT he called back again and said yes i am pregnant i have since gotten another doctor who seems to know what he is doing :P

i think the oddest way to find out you are pregnant is for those unfortunate girls out there ( like me 11 years ago now ) to get involved with the wrong guy too young and allow him to take control and have his way with her - i was younger and a little scared and did not want to do anything to drastic like run and get tests done immediently i even waited a month to tell my mother and father what had happened .. my dad told me that it was my decision wether i wanted to get checked out or not and i decided not to .. i wanted to forget about it :(

not even a full week after telling my parents i got extremely sick..so sick my parents felt there was nothing else they could do to make me feel better then to go to the hospital i was hospitalized for a few days while nurses poked and prodded at me the second day i was there my mother and father had juts come in along with some of my siblings.. the doctor came in then and told us that i was pregnant - i remember everyone about crumbleing to the floor :(

I had severe asthma until I was 13 and then didn't have any issues for years and years... Then one day out of nowhere I had an asthma attack and had to go to the hospital for treatment.. they found out through blood tests that I was pregnant.. it was totally unexpected and he remains the best surprise of my life..

With my second.. I thought I was.. so I took a test during my lunch break at work.. and sure enough it was positive.. I wished for the rest of the day that I had waited until I got home.. because I was so excited that I was useless for the rest of the day.

I found out I was pregnant, not because I, myself thought I was, but my husband thought I was.

He said that my face looked bright, and I was acting wierd so he wanted me to take a test..
I wanted to prove him wrong b/c I didn't think I was..
I peed on it and handed it to him and walked away to make dinner.. He walked up to me no longer than a minute later and handed it back.. I almost dropped it in the spaghetti sauce......

It was funny.... And it was last week. LOL

Never been pregnant .... but I think the oddest way to find out would be while giving birth !

One would think though that there are enough tell-tale signs that none would really be odd .... so to speak.

I went for my appointment at the fertility clinic to discuss IVF. The doctor performed an ultrasound to see the state of my fallopian tubes as i have severe endometriosis and informed me that there was something in my uterus. We did a pregnancy test which came back positive!!

I found out I was pregnant when my mother kissed me on my forehead and said I tasted funny. I know sounds weird.

i had just walked out from paying my phone bill and i said "man that chinese smells so good" I got to lookin and there was no chinese food place around. I got a couple of blocks down the road and there was the chinese place.
