Most massage therapists will not give you a massage during your first trimester because there is so much going on with your body. The best thing to do is check with your doctor and go to a massage therapist that is certified in prenatal massage. Massage can be very beneficial in pregnancy if there are no contraindications.

Yes you can get a massage if your pregnant. My mom is a trained and she gives me massages all the time she even taught my fiance. Go through your phone book and call different places. Some one in there is bound too. If not you can email me and I can find out what book she uses. Good luck!

Of course you are! There are positions for massages that do not need you to lay down on your stomach. A nice body massage by hand is best.

I think so, but you aren't supposed to lay on your back in the 2nd and 3rd trimester because of circulation issues. Ask you Dr. to find out the best times.

A co-worker of mine did and she said that she just laid on her side. I would recommend finding someone who is trained to work on pregnant women.

Yes, and I strongly recommend it! They will lay you on your side and put a body pillow on front of you so you are comfortable. It's so great! Enjoy! :)
