I am 11 years old going on 12 in a couple of months. My club leader said that when you breast, public hair, and vignal discharge comes then your period will come well I have had all those things 1-2 years. When is my period gonna come.

the average age is 12.5. Don't worry, I started developing breasts and pubic hair between 9-10 and didn't start until I was exactly 12.5, lol. It will come! Your body has to have a certain amount of fat before you can start menstruating.

I had all of those things at 11 to but did not get my period til I was 14 years old and a freshman in highschool Dont rush it cause once you get it you will wish you did not have it trust me I am 31 years old and I hate having it .

Don't be in such a hurry for this to happen. You will have to deal with your period until you're fifty or older and they are no fun. Believe me I hated mine and I was so glad when mine ended. Be a kid and be patient all a period means that having your period you are now able to get pregnant and that's a worry you don't need right now. It will happen soon enough

when the inside parts are ready too. there is no way to tell exactly but some girls get it when they are 11, some when they are 13-14, my ex had hers at 16 (seriously).
p.s. rachel is right if your gonna try to figure it out ask one of your sisters or your mom, or better yet calculate the average among them, because this part is directly connected to the genes you carry.

There isnt any real set age. It will come when your body is ready. But check your family history and see when the women in your family began their period, yours SHOULD be around the same time.

well i think i might know your club leader because my dauighter is in a club too. Is it girlpower well anyway try asking your mom but it mostly happens 3 years after discharge or maybe 2.go to girlzone.com it'll help.also try beinggirl.com

One of the best indicators of when a girl will begin menstrating is the age at which your mother began. Ask her when her first period was.

Dont rush it, trust me! lol! Its normal for that to happen and so you shouldnt worry about it. Start to worry when your 16 and still dont have a period. Your fine and it'll come eventually!

you should expect it soon, even in a few weeks! put don't get anxious if it doesn't come even in a few months. i had my first period and my next was in 15 days and my next was in 40 days. so you generally should expect in in a couple weeks.

that's not true i started to have discharge at 10 and didn't come on till i was 13
