This is for pro choicers, I am not against all abortions I am against late term abortions, I have a serious question, if late term abortions are mainly done as a result of danger to the mother or some kind of deformity why are so many( the majority) done outside of hospitals? What woman says, Something is wrong someone, hurry get me to the abortion clinic? If they are done mainly for medical emergencies( which they are not) why do so many prochoice people oppose a ban to limit them to only being performed in hospitals? Can anyone say GREED. Late term abortions fetch big bucks it has nothing to do with a womans right to choose, it has everything to to with $1500 a pop
Would you agree to la ban allowing late term abortions to only be performed for legitimate reasons (not an extra finger) in a hospital?

OBVIOUSLY you dont know, late term abortions are not illegal look an nearly any site of a clinic offering abortions and they are readily available at the right price.

You should care beacause 3rd trimester babies are viable meaning they can live without the mother. But in many states including Florida and New Jersy they can and are aborted, the mother does not have to have a medical reason only the money. Look it up for yourself.

yes I would. I believe in a women's right to choice and in fact have driven a good friend of mine to a clinic before, and at this point in my life I would probably have one if I got pregnant now. However I am VERY much against late term abortions unless they are an absolute necessity. By the third trimester the "mother" has had 6 months to think about whether or not they want to have a baby. When the fetus is this developed, a late term abortion consists of inducing labor and as the fetus is being born the doctor opens a hole at the base of the neck and inserting a suction device that collapses the skull, allowing for an easier delivery. This causes unneeded trauma to the child, for it is one at this point and if born could live, although it would need medical equipment to survive. All of the unneeded cost would be alleviated by a quick trip to a clinic in the first/second trimester. If a mother is having doubts for six months then they shouldn't have an abortion because they would probably regret it later.

I think the 120 days is enough time to decided. As far as 3 trimester abortions..I don't think they are even legal, if even performed at a clinic. A hospital will never do an abortion, for no good reason. I went to the hospital at 6 1/2 months, they induced pregnancy or I would have died. My daughter was born at 2 pounds. She is now turning 6 and one of the best things to ever happen to me.

I would do some more research on this 3rd trimester thing. But I would vote to ban this.

Look, if someone cares enough to abort their child, legality or not isn't going to stop them. This is the same logic that's keeping us from providing clean needles to drug addicts and condoms to teenagers to prevent the spread of HIV (which the USA doesn't do, citing risk of increased drug use and pre-marital sex). That's why the HIV rate in America is so much higher than in other western countries. You think making these abortions illegal will stop them?

No, they'll just be done in unsanitary back alleys (for more money) or the old fashioned way, pushing a pregnant woman down a flight of stairs or beating the crap out of her, or the woman taking a coathanger to herself. Legal abortions _prevent_ these things. Little reality check...

Log in on the protest web site and sign a paper promising you will act in a non violent way whilst protesting. locate and stay to tell the tale public sources in any respect cases. you need to be arrested and jailed in case you step or stroll on the medical institution's sources. Pray quietly in the time of your pass to in case you're protesting with the aid of non secular ideals. that's frequently finished in my opinion or on small communities. Your prayers should not be used to incite reactions from those traveling abortion clinics, as this may well be seen as coercion. carry a expert-existence sign in the time of your protest pass to. convey your guy or woman sign or use an illustration offered by way of the protest organizer. do no longer end and block the generic public sidewalk in case you opt for for to chat to women folk entering into or leaving the medical institution. that's grounds for an arrest. pass away the abortion medical institution quietly taking each and every little thing you delivered with you.

I agree with a woman's right to choose, except in late term abortions and I think all abortions should be performed at a hospital, or at least a reputable clinic.

If you do not want an abortion, do not get one. However, do not question anyone else's reason for doing so. You do not live their life and do not understand the motivations for such. That is the point of pro-choice. It is not pro-abortion, its to say let the individuals make the necessary choices. They are the ones that have to live with that decision, not you.

Yes, cause if beat women and killing people were made illegal they would NEVER happen. Oh, wait, they both already illegal and still happen.

I think that ban already exists. And it is exceptionally dangerous for the mother. But why only hospitals? Who cares where a procedure is performed if it's legal, clean, professionally done? I don't. Explain why I should.

Can you cite any real examples? If you didn't know, late term abortions are illegal ALREADY except when the mothers life is in immediate danger.

A woman's right to choose to kill a baby? How can idiots who are against war and against the death penalty be for killing babies. Anyone who has had an abortion should be arrested for murder.

What about a man's right to choose? It takes two, right? I am pro-man's choice to have or not have babies.

So, I am totally with you that women should not have the right to choose, especially about something so important!

Hope that helps.
