Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 September 2006

I have a 12 yo daughter. Her breats have developed to the point she clearly needs a bra nad she's been wearing one for 2 months. The girl doesn't like, says they are uncomfortable and makes her sweat when it's hot. But since she really needs a bra, I've been firm, though with much love. I spent several hours heling her choose her bras and yet she didn't like any of them. I'm a very undersdtanding and loving mom, but on this point I had to use my motherly authority. Today I got to know my girl didn't obey and she ended up admitting severl times she took off her bra and put it on again before getting home. She's a very good girl and usually obedient, I don't think this was anything bad, I see this as something childish, But anyway, she shouldn't take off her bra without authorization.
Do you think I'm being a good mom for making her wear a bra though she doen't like it? I'm sure it's for her best
Do you she should be punished for taking off her bra? If so, what punishment?

I told my boyfriend he doesn’t want me to have it an he said I should get abortion or he is going to leave I don’t really need him anyways but I don’t want my baby to grow up with out a father in his or her life. An as for my parents they believe that one should be married before have a baby or sex at that, so they wont be there too

ok yes i am a pregnant teen.. im 19 years old.. and me and the baby daddy are not together .. he dosent love me, and me and him cnt seem to work things out.. im not sure that i want to have a baby when there is no love between us.. yes he wants to keep it ,.. but yet he is talkin to other girls and tells me that if he is to get with another girl that it is not my business and have no say .. at first he wanted to be with me and know he says that he dosent.. what should i do???

I am being a worrywart as I've already been told there is nothing to worry about, but having a history of pregnancy losses I'm freaked out about every little twinge and twang. I had an US today at 11 weeks and the FHR is 183. (he/she was also moving around a bit) She said that was within normal range, but everything I'm pulling up online says 120-160. Just curious to see if any other mothers have/or have had high fetal heart rates and what the outcome was.

He has had two incidents of diahrroea- treated wth antibiotics. but during both cases, even after completing the course his stool remained green, watery, with pus and foam. I have introduced semi solid (once daily) now and this had made the stool a little more thick now, however pus and foam are still seen and the color is green. Also, whenever we give him Lactogen I he gets severe flatulence, vomiting, and then indigested milk in the stool.

My boobs are seriously hurting. I dont remember feeling them hurt this bad during PMS. Besides it is a little early for PMS symptoms as my period is not due till the 15th and my breasts have been sore for 4 days now. My fiance and I had sex the days leading up to and on ovulation day. I also noticed I am a little more hungry recently. My body feels sore and tired. Any thoughts???

My daughter cries about anything everyday atleast 6 times a day. If she can't do something she would give up and start crying if she can't find something she cries if she has trouble putting on her clothes instead of asking for help like she knows she is supposed to, she cries and it's a whole lot more but too much to type. And it's usually small thing that's not a big deal. When I ask her why is she crying she says she doesn't know. I explain to her that she is a big girl and only babies communicate by crying and that big girls should talk to people to let them know what is wrong she cries as I tell her this. I don't yell at her and I am very nice to her so why is she crying so much? What should I do to get her to stop it is really gettin annoying and frustrating.

Her doc said she was dialated to 2 and that it won't be long. She's been having contractions for 24 hours, some very hard and painful. But she was sent home.

Is there an average or rule of thumb for this?

i have to pump all milk due to latch problems ........and now i am getting only 1/2 ounce each breast every 2 hours and need to increase my baby is 2 months and drinking 30 + ounces a day and i want as much as possible to be breast milk

My husband and I are trying to conceive.I started my ovulation cycle,and, the sex has been on. I wanted to know how soon is too soon to feel like our process was succesful? I recently just had a miscarriage. It was a really early miscarriage...i was onluy about 5-maybe 6 weeks. The doctor said the cells just didnt come together and form to make the baby. I want to try again really bad. I am emotionally ready, but is it possible?? I asked the doctor about the whole "waiting 3 months" thing and she said since it was so early in the pregnancy that it wouldnt affect me trying again. I havent started my period again, but its only been about 2 weeks since i miscarried....i just want to know how likely it is that i'll get pregnant soon...or if im just getting my hopes up. Also, it takes a little longer for me to become pregnant.....it took me a couple months the first time, so is that what i should expect the second time around???
