I am 39 weeks pregnant and have a bad rash developing on my face, back and legs...I haven't used any different products such as soaps or laundry detergents...what could it be from. I try not to itch it because I don't want to irritate it more. Has anyone else experienced this?

I was getting papers for A college class and i had to go into this womens office . and she asked me questions i had to answer Orally .. and one of the questions . was age .. she could clearly see i was pregnant , she made rude comments about being pregnant at my age. I dont know what You all think about being pregnant at 16 im not her child .. so i dont see why she was being so rude .. she also stated that she had a 13 and 16 year old and if they would have came home pregnant , she would harshly punish them !

My husband and I had a long talk with our preacher last night about my stepson and his behavior. He has only lived with us for 3 months. His behavior is not any better than it was at his moms. He is lying, stealing (just recently stole my older brothers high school ring, luckily we got it back), back talks, and has now gotten kicked off the bus. My husband went asked the preacher to come over cause he see's how frustrated over my stepsons behavior that I am. The preacher basically told us that we can not let this child destroy our family. He feels that my stepson who is 12 knows full well what he is doing, and knows right from wrong. He is just choosing the wrong to get attention and to cause problems between my husband and I. Our preacher feels that since I have taken on a full time parenting role in his life I deserve respect and have certain "rights". He feels that my husband should allow me to be the one to dole out any punishments for awhile, and if he makes it clear that he backs me up completely, my stepson will know that his bad behavior is not going to break us up. He also feels that we can not allow my stepson to cause turmoil in our household, considering that I have a son and my husband and I have a 2 yr. old daughter together. He even feels that we need to let him know that it is his choice to change his behavior and that the consequences of continuing to do the things he is doing, might be that he has to go back to his mothers house. He feels that he is trying to “play the victim” and that if we allow it and don’t set down strict, if not harsh, punishments, he will destroy our marriage. Do you think he has a good point?

Everytime I administer a suppository to my son he pushes it out. I've gone through 3 today and I can't get it to stay in. I push it in, and 10 seconds later it just comes out. Is he pushing it our, or am I doing it wrong?

Any suggestions as to how I should position him, and what I can do to calm him down/keep it in while giving it?

thank you.

I've read about how dehydration and a whole host of other issues can result in low blood volume but nothing showing that low iron is a factor. I ask because I suspect that my OB was using scare tactics to get me to take my vitamins.

I just had an argument about this issue:

My opinion is that when someone has committed such a heinous crime as sexually molesting/assaulting a child under 12, THEY DO NOT DESERVE THEIR PRIVACY, the community deserves to know where this sickos live, what they look like, where they work etc, the website is called familywatchdog.us and I think is great because they provide a lot of information, I dont have a family myself, but there are a lot of children in my block, I would hate to see something so horrible happen to them.

The other side of the argument was completely the opposite, he thought that those people do deserve privacy and not have their information posted on the web, the sad thing is, that he is a parent of a 9 y/o girl.

I found his point of view odd for a father.

I would appreciate any comments on this subject

My wife and I having been trying to get her potty trained. We have been able to get her to go pee, but not # 2. She will not always go pee on the potty, but she knows when she has to go. When she has to go # 2 she will go hide some where and grunt.

What is the best way to get her trained? She has to be potty trained to go to preschool.

My boyfriend has a 6 year old son who lives with his mother and we get every other weekend, all school vacations, and for most of the summer. He is in the whining phase which I hope passed quickly but in the last month or so he has become a bit more mouthy and when he doesn't get his way he has started the whole crying and whining act. Overall, he is one of the best behaved children I have ever seen and I have absolutely no complaints over the whining and occassional smart mouthed comment because we were expecting some changes in his behavior after his first year of school. The big problem we are having is the constant phonecalls from his mother because of his behavior at her house. He tells her that he hates her, threatens to kick his stepfather who he doesnt like at all and fights with his 3 year old half sister (which I think is normal) Tonight she says he said he was going to kill all of them and himself. This is NOT our boy! Any other familys encounter this? Therapy work?

I try everything to get my 2.5 yr old ot leave the playground and in the end here I am 9 months pregnant literally dragging him to the car. I try telling him Daddy's home now let's go see him. I try telling him your milk is in the car let's go get it. Itry if you don't listen I am giving you time out when we get home. I try speaking to him in a stern voice. I try picking him up but he just dives down. I just don't know what to do. I have to drag him by the wrist and wiggles around so much I feel like I'll brake his wrist.

I know people are going to tell me to take away a toy or put in time out but what do I do at that moment when I need to get him in the car?
