When I was pregnant I didn't gain in the beginning at all. I was nauseous, and my breasts hurt. I was also very emotional.

Weight gain and cravings don't usually start till your second trimester.

All women are different and no two women ever really have the same pregnancy symtoms. The only thing that all women have is the feeling of the movement of the fetus, swelling abdomen, abscence of a period at some point in the 9 months, and labor pain!

The common symptoms of pregnancy include missing the period, morning sickness, tender or swollen breasts and so on. However, not all women have all of these and some women have none. The only possible true dianose of pregnancy and way that you can tell you are pregnant is a positive pregnancy test and a confirmed pregnancy test at the doctor (urine or blood usually they do both).

The only sign I had was my breasts being very tender. They hurt for the first 2 months. The only other sign was I was more tired. I finally went to the doctor and found out that I was already 8 weeks pregnant. If you are not sure buy a home test or go the doctor.

I have 1 child, a little girl but i had a stillborn 6 years ago. Both pregnancies were different. With my first (6 years ago) i got no morning sickness or vomiting but felt extrememly tired. With my daughter who is now nearly 3 i felt horrible. Extremely sick, couldnt hold down food or water, my breasts jumped two bra sizes in the first 3 months and i got UTI's all the time. I didnt get pre-eclampsia the first time, but got it the second time and gave birth to my daughter at 34 weeks. She is healthy and always the smile of the crowd.

I dont have a partner anymore but i may consider having 1 more child if i find the right person and get the all clear from my doctor.

As a Dad, nausea and crankiness was a sign to me that there was a bun in the oven. But for some strange reason pregnant woman (at least the ones i knew) get grossed out by the smell of cheap chinese food (no offense, i luv that stuff).
