Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 September 2006

My son is 3. When riding in the car he takes of his harness and gets out. I have punished him numerous times for this yet he still does it; what can I do to correct this? We do not take long trips (30 min. max).

I say give his bum a pinch (but try not to wake him) Definetly take a picture!

She can say Bad, Bum Mom & Dad. she knows her ABC's and ASL.
If you take somthing away from her or shes upset with you she will call you "Bad" or "Bad Bum".

Earlier while looking out the window I saw my neighbor do something that really shocked me. He was outside with his infant son in the yard and his son was crawling around in the grass. Then his dad got up, grabbed his baby's hand, and walked around to the backyard. I don't really know how to desrcribe it but it looked painful. Like the dad was standing up and holding the baby's hand and the baby was like dangling while his dad walked around to the backyard. The first thing that came to my mind was--that baby's arm is going to come out of it's socket! Like it would be like reaching up and grabbing on something and dangling there. It was really weird. Is that child abuse or child endangerment? I'm sorry, I've just never seen someone walk around with their child like that. Please let me know if I should talk to my neighbor or something because I would feel terrible if that baby's arm really did come out of it's socket or something :(

yes i know its a stupid question, considering all the literature that i've looked through, they all seem to suggest that your at higher chance of conceiving the days before and the days after ovulation, but what if its the exact same date?

This is really a question more for parents who have older kids, not babies... but all comments are appreciated!
I was wondering if your relationship with your spouse/sig. other has strengthened or sort of diminished after having kids? Some say that their relationship was strengthened by a baby, others not so much?
Any thoughts?

i had a really really really light color blood for about two days.. and then after few months i got a regular color blood and now i don't have a period.. i don't think i ever had a REAL period. what's wrong? and my friends all have period.. am i just a person who's just having a period realy eally late.. or what? i never had sex or anything .

candy, money for the drill-team or anything else. It is scary enough to see elderly people soliciting flowers, pretzels, and newspapers in the middle of traffic. It should be against the law for kids. The older people know the dangers so that is up to them.

My period was late. When I started it it was super light. It never got heavy and only lasted about 3 days when it should last 6 days. My periods have been regular for the past two years. I have also been having bad headaches for like 2 days straight. I havent taken anything for them because I dont want to hurt the baby if I am pregnant. I know that the only way to tell if I am pregnant or not is to take a test. I dont get paid for two more weeks, same with my fiancee. I have a checkup at my gyno on october 4th. should I just wait until then and have him give me a blood test? Thanks to anyone who isnt rude about this question.
