Old Navy, Wal-Mart or where ever I find things on a good sale or on clearence. If I find bigger stuff that is really super cheap I buy it. My daughter will grow into it eventually and then I don't have to spend crazy money all at once.

Children's Place and Carters are my top picks - both make very durable clothing that run "true to size." My daughter had already grown out of the 2T clothes that we got at Target, but was still wearing some of her 24 mos. shirts from Children's Place. We are lucky enough to have outlet stores for both nearby, which makes shopping a whole lot easier on the wallet - she's 2, it doesn't really matter if her clothes are "in" this year or were last year's style!

I love Kohl's especially the clearance. When they have 70 percent off clearance price its just crazy. We stock up for the next year. They also have great sales on Carter's and Osh Kosh. I also like their Sonoma brand. My 3 year old nephew has a white turtleneck that I got him last fall that has had every possible thing spilled on it including Blood from an ouchy and the only stain it has on it is dry erase board marker on the arm.

Those are all wonderful places to take your money to. If you live on a budget, or if you just don't think that spending all that money on clothes that wont fit in 3 months is smart, then you can go to Burlington coat factory, they have baby depot and it has some really nice clothes for about half what your paying, and it's the same names brands. Babies-R-Us also has good prices on clothes.

I like to buy organic cotton or clothes that are made without child labour.
American Apparel, Hanna Andersson, Kate Quinn organics, ecobaby.com and other like those.
When I can't afford to buy quality and organic I like to shop second hand, because it is all good as new for half the price, and it lessens environmental impact to buy used instead of new. I have found some awesome stuff at Value Village and consignment stores.

2nd hand stores - because kids go through the clothes so fast that they don't have time to destroy them when they are little and so you can get very expensive clothes for next to nothing and then if the clothes are still in good condition when you are finished you can pass them on, or sell them also.
