Pretty normal in the way of girls. Theyre usually quick to pick up verbal communication. Sounds like a good vocabulary for a child that age.

Every kid is different, some dont have any words until theyre two years, some have a handful of words at one year. Just depends on how quick they decide to pick it up.

They should be able to say things by the time they're 15 months old. My son is 14 months old and he can say quite a few things:
mommy, daddy, Shanna (Shannon, my name), drink, pee pee, ki ki (his blanket), doggie, oh da (all done) these are just a few examples. But he definately doesn't know the ABC's, good work on that one!

Depends on the child. My oldest needed speach therapy. My second was saying Hi, bye, mom, dad, cat, dog and many more at year. My yongest is almost 2 and has a huge vocabulary also.

My friends' daughter was talking in full sentences when she was 13 months old. E.g., "Mommy, open that door." She hasn't stopped since.

She's now a lawyer with one of the top law firms in the state.

Yes... I dont know about ABC's... but my 15 month old neice can say "button" "ducky" "dog" "eye" (and point to her eye) "I love you" "Momma" "Dadda" "Poppa" and a whole lot of other words... she even says my name... although it comes out like "awwie"

...just beware... because I can almost guarentee that when she gets older, she will be a TALKER.

Of course it is! She shouldn't be exposed to phrases like the second one you mentioned - be a better example for her!
