totally normal. i cried for 3 days straight after having my first son. it started in the hospital the last day that we were there. the doctor was expaining the circumcision procedure and i just started crying. i had to explain to him that it wasnt him, it was just hormones. for the next 3 days, i couldnt look at, or even say my sons name, without bawling like a baby. i think that it was partly hormonal. but alot of it had to do with all of the feelings associated with being a mom for the first time. no one can prepare you for how consuming it is. i was never warned that the bond between mother and child was so strong. i was so happy, excited, scared, and consumed.

but, after having my second son. i didnt go through that. i felt pretty normal. i guess it was because i wasnt a first time mom.

I have that feeling all the time and my girls are 17,16, and 9. Good luck with the baby. Time goes by so fast, make every moment count. Spend as much quality time with her as you can. My oldest daughter will be graduating this year and when I think back over the years, I never regret the times I got to spend with her, just the times I had to leave her to go to work.

That's normal ... everyone reacts different ways. I wish thats how I reacted. I reacted totally opposite, i was dumbfounded. I loved my baby all through pregnancy and then when he was born, i didnt kno what to do with him. I've never been around a baby like that before. So i think i caught that post partum depression for a couple weeks. i loved him so much, but hated myself for not knowin how to take care of him. but now i feel the way you do. i cant stand how much i love him.

Sure! It's completely normal. Your hormones are racing back to normal, you're emotional because of the whole birthing experience, and let's face it, this little one is a replica of you and your daughters father made from LOVE! Congratulations, by the way!

Yep, that's normal. It's the Baby Blues. You're super-happy but you can't stop crying and pouting and whatnot. I had it and it went away in about a week. I always found the worst part was putting her to bed because I didn't want her to be away from me at all.

Your totoally normal. These over whelming feelings of love are just great and hang on to them. I myself was surprised I could love a child like that and I even felt in love with my child. Everytime he moved his arm or made little baby noises I would just look and be completely over awed. Words just cannot discribe this feeling.

Its called post pardem blues. every motheer gets them. i got them too. its due to the uneven hormone because they are going out of wack from everything. read a baby book, or parenting book for new mothers and it will tell you all about it. it goes away with in a few weeks.
