My period was late. When I started it it was super light. It never got heavy and only lasted about 3 days when it should last 6 days. My periods have been regular for the past two years. I have also been having bad headaches for like 2 days straight. I havent taken anything for them because I dont want to hurt the baby if I am pregnant. I know that the only way to tell if I am pregnant or not is to take a test. I dont get paid for two more weeks, same with my fiancee. I have a checkup at my gyno on october 4th. should I just wait until then and have him give me a blood test? Thanks to anyone who isnt rude about this question.

I have had headaches, and a feeling of fullness in my tummy,and the one that made me really start thinking about it is my fiancee. Today he just walked up to me after work and said honey are you pregnant? You just look different. Whats that all about... lol

definitely take some tylenol. nothing more then 250mg. drink water. often headaches come from dehydration.
definitely go to a free clinic. you can get a pee test for free. planned parenthood is also useful.
since you already had your "period" if you are pregnant, a pee test should be accurate.

Ditto what erotic_songbird said. I was referred to one by the county health department. It was called a "Pregnancy Crisis Center" (don't let the name scare you) and I didn't realize that it was a non-profit, pro-life, religious based place until I got there. But hey, the test was free. Even the ultrasound they gave me the next day was free. I would look places up in the yellow pages. Do you have one of those Dollar Tree / Everything is $1 stores? If so I would go there to get a test. They have been accurate both times I used them for 2 different pregnancies.

Well sounds like you might be pregnant but you should ask somebody to let you borrow 20 dollars if you really want to get the thought out of your head so you can go buy a pregnancy test but if not then i guess all you can do is wait till you get paid.. but im pretty certain you are pregnant have you had any other symptoms.Well good luck

I think i can answer this question becuase i think i'm in the same boat. i had sex last month on the 7 and then my period came on the 10 of that month and that ***** was an heavy *** flow then 2 days afterwards it had completely shut off on me and now i been getting headaches, sleepy alot , craving food, feeling nausea, and most importantly,backaches all in the past couple of weeks i'm all mess up! lol i truly belive that you're might be having a little bundle of joy if so congrats! and get lots of rest for you and the new baby!and also goood luck with everything take care sweetheart.

If you can get there and have one nearby pregnancy tests at the Dollar Tree store only cost a dollar and are accurate. Also Tylenol is usually safe when you're pregnant. If your head ache has lasts much longer you may want to go to the doctore earlier.

There may be a free clinic in your area with a nurse that will test you for free. There are a lot in michigan. Some are anti-abortion clinics. Look into it under abortion in the yellow pages.

Try going to a place who gives free preg test. We have a place where I'm from called Heartline Preg. and they give free testing and they help you out when you need it like diapers and medicare papers. That would be the only thing you can do or barrow some money until payday!
HEADACHES take Tylenol. It is the only thing you can take when your preg. Tylenol and Tums!!!

You can get pregnancy tests at the Dollar Tree if you have one in your area. They are only $1.00 they are not 100% but nothing really is. Also if your pregnant you should find out as soon as possible so that you can't take prenatal vitimins and dr's apptments.

Wait until you get paid, or go to the $ store. I got a + result with one from there at 3 weeks along. If you do get a + result call your OB/GYN's office back and tell them that your upcoming appointment will have to be a prenatal visit. They will have to order blood work to be done, and you may have to give a urine sample.

Yea i think you should wait. You don't want to buy a pregnancy test and having it come out negative. before i was pregnant i bought like two and it came out negative. and finally when i went to the doctor i was pregnant. just don't waist your money. Good luck! But if you missed your period buy a test.
