candy, money for the drill-team or anything else. It is scary enough to see elderly people soliciting flowers, pretzels, and newspapers in the middle of traffic. It should be against the law for kids. The older people know the dangers so that is up to them.

I assume you are talking about kids that are fundraising?
Kids are not smart enough to realize the danger, not all parents know what happens when they do these things. Sometimes it is the teacher or administrator, you would think they would suggest some safety advice for this.

Those parents need to get jobs,and put these kids in school.
I don't care how poor they are.It's not up to the kids to make the paychecks.They should be at school or out playing in a safe place.There is no excuse to put these kids through this other than the parents are using the money for their own drugs or else why don't they go out and work.

I think that some parents just need away to make more money so they put they children at risks, not thinking of the consequences... Then when something happens they feel so bad, well some of them do...
