Without any details regarding when your last period was and how long your average cycle length is, etc. That question can't be answered.
The general rule is that it takes 8-10 days to implant after ovulation (which in a perfect 28 day cycle would occur at day 14 of your cycle) and a few more days for the hormone levels to be high enough to get a positive.
So normally, a positive will occur by the day your missed your period if you are pregnant, although that's not always a cut and dried rule... false negatives are common (depending on when you're taking the test), but false positives are almost unheard of.
Good luck!

There is a possiblity if you haven't had your period. It depends on what day of your cycle you are on and how early you took the test.
It always takes awhile to detect the pregnancy. If you are concerned and haven't gotten your period then call your doctor for a real urine test to be sure. They are much more accurate then over the counter tests they are cheap. Don't get your hopes up. Take it one day at a time. I hope it works out for you.

Yeah you could be, those home pregnency kits test for a hormone that is only present 14 days after conception, so give it another couple of days..oh and take the test in the morning time as the hormone is more concentrated.

Probably not... EPTs are extremely accurate when taken correctly.
I have a question for you.. WHY would you want to have a child with a man who is NOT your HUSBAND?
Please tell me you're not serious.
