Clove oil is your best bet because you'll have a hard time getting ground cloves to stay put. It works. Before the advent of commercial products it was the only game in town. Baking soda works for canker sores not toothaches.

it so easy, rub a little amount of ointment in your stomach and back portion of your body ( which is popular here in Phils.) and if is tolerable for you also, drink a "salabat" in a small quantity, which available in the supermarket. And eating fresh fruits is good for you too! I hope you learn a little from me.

kabag=gas in the stomach (either you fart or you burp to remove it) =) . a filipino word. anyway, you can put oil on your stomach, there are available oil in the market (mercury drug) or you can ask your OB.
