I think they are usually more dark than light. Is that true? (Not that it matters, just wondering)

My best friend recently decieded to be my child care provider of my 3 kids & recieve payments from the state. This is a way for her to be home with her 4 kids, and still earn xtra income. We both work for a nursing agency that calls w/ little notice to work. Last week they called on a tuesday asking me to work, I said I need to check with my sitter let me call you back. They hung up and called my sitter/friend for the assignment and she took it with no notice to me stating that she couldn't watch my children because she was working. However she still got paid by me and the state for nothing. This weekend she accepted an assignement working the 6a-230pm shift and I worked the 2-10 shift. Before going to work I ended up leaving the children with her husband b/c she was at work when she was to be home, he's a great guy so I didn't stress but he was alone w/ seven kids. After working I picked my kkids up and she was in the bed asleep, husband watched kids?! Should I terminate her?

I have really given this stepmom thing a chance, but I dont think that I can keep going on the way things are. My stepson has only lived with us for 3 months and I am already thinking that this arrangment is not going to work. His mom asked my husband and I to take custody because of his horrible behavior. They have been divorced since he was 3, he's 12. She was fed up with him and thought that coming to live with us would help things. It hasn't. He is lying, stealing, getting in trouble on the bus. I feel like I have had to change my entire lifestyle just to accomendate him. He has a horrible attitude to me and my husband both. He doen't show any remorse for his actions at all. He will apologize and then a week later he is doing the same thing again. My husband is also at his wits end. His son just seems to be determined to cause trouble. I don't feel like I should let him ruin our marriage. We have a daughter together. I think she deserves to grow up with us together. Help!

I have a period every other month.. I am not on BC, but my boyfriend and I do use condoms... The last time I had a period was in June. So I should of had one in Aug, but didn't. I have been extremly stressed out about everything in life...and I know stress has something to do with not having a period... I have had lower back pains, some scents really bother me..I have also had an upset stomach like my period was going to start,but didnt..And lately it seems like I can only lay on my back while sleeping.. I have taken several tests, but they all turn out negative.. Does it sound like I am pregnant??

OK I have been in school for a while so finally I will start my Respiratory Therapist Program next year. I am basically a SAHM that goes to school, but now we are trying to buy a house and I need to work FT for the next year. I have worked as a CNA for the past 7 years mainly PT since my son was born 3 years ago. I am looking for some possible ideas from other working moms about jobs that fit their schedule. Day type jobs don't really work cause my whole check will go to child care. I am trying to find other positions than CNA because there is so much lifting and I am kinda burned out. So just searching for ideas! As of now I am applying for all types of stuff!

We really Love each other..and it is love, not lust.weve never had sex, we both agreed to wait till we get married, we have thought about it alot..were both faitfull..i dont even look or think of other girls..and thats hard to do when your a 15 year old male that has rageing hormons (i dunno if i spelt that rite)..anyway..i just want to know if anyone has been in this position before..and what happend..i really do love her..and she really loves me..i cry myself to sleep every nite thinking of her..and once again it is LOVE NOT LUST..please let me know if youve been in this situation before or if you know someone who has and what happend to them

Has anyone else had a toddler that wasn't walking at 15 and a half months, not even close to standing on their own without holding onto something. His feet are always turned out to the side, like that comic strip Cathy! I think his feet turned out pengiun like are what's stopping him from walking. Anyone have any advice for me to help him walk?

My boyfriend has a daughter who is 18 yrs old. She is an acholic, a drug addict, and she steals all the time. She always comes to daddy for money and it drives me up the wall. She asks him for rides everywhere, and asks him to buy her all these things she doesn't need. A woman has a child that is mildly mentally challenged (cannot talk and is over-active), but she is a great mom to her child. She has a girlfriend who is very cool; they hang out, talk, laugh, and just do all around girl stuff. However, when the mom with the special needs child needs a sitter, she can't count on her girlfriend to watch her kid. Is it wrong to be upset at the friend for not wanting to assist or support her when it comes to watching her kid? Why do you think the girlfriend doesn't want to watch the kid? Is she afraid that maybe she can't handle the responsibility?

He's 4 months old, tried almost every formula except Nutramigen, which the doctor just put him on. Tried Previcid, problem worse. Only had 1 other child out of our 4 that had mild case. Good Start and Zantac worked for her till she outgrew it.

today i went to the doc and i dilated 2 cm,but my blood pressure was 146 over 90 and my doc said that was high so he is having me come back in 2 days!!is it possible that if it is high that day they will induce my labor??
